Best cleaning ever!! I had coffee while my son used their play area since I came super early with pain. Jessica my hygienist was so detailed to make sure I had good routine at home and taught me so much about my gum health all while being so gentle for my cleaning! I needed to get a root canal the same day and Dr.Dan stayed late for me until 8pm so my insurance could be used for 2024. This is how a dental visit should be, they care about you. I always said I would follow Dr Dan wherever he went. Those words were put to the test. He's at a new location now but it's worth it for me to travel a little further to stay his patient. He's the best dentist I've ever had and I've had plenty. The icing on the cake is when my tooth broke right in front of him (due to medication I'm on) just as they were about to close and seeing the pain I was in not only did he and his staff stay late but they went out of their way to make sure I didn't feel bad about it. Who are we kidding, no one likes to stay late after work. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and Jacqueline can teach a class on customer service. I'm glad she transferred to this office as well. She's amazing!!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Dan and the entire team! I’ve had a lifelong dental phobia, but Dr. Dan completely changed that for me. He’s not only incredibly skilled but also so patient and understanding. He stayed late to ensure my treatment was done perfectly and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Dr. Dan even redid some work from a previous dentist, and the results were nothing short of beautiful. I finally have a smile I’m proud of, and it’s all thanks to him. The office manager, Jacqueline, was also such a pleasure to work with. She made everything seamless and manageable, from scheduling to explaining my treatment plan. The whole experience was stress-free and professional. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares and a team that treats you like family, look no further. I’m recommending Dr. Dan and this office to everyone I know!

I recently moved to Long Island City and was looking for a dental office that felt like the right fit. After checking out a few places, I still hadn’t found one that really clicked—until I walked into this office. From the moment I stepped in, Cathy at the front desk greeted me, and I immediately felt comfortable. Cathy is amazing! Even though I didn’t have dental insurance, she took the time to explain all the insurance options they accept and went over other payment plans to make everything more manageable. She was incredibly patient and kind, taking the time to explain everything clearly without rushing me. I’ve been to a few other dental offices in the area, but none of them were as helpful, friendly, or informative as she was. It's not every day you come across such great customer service, and I really appreciated how she went above and beyond to make me feel taken care of. I’m so glad I found this place and can’t recommend it enough—five stars all the way!

This is my dentist spot in LIC! After failing with numerous dentists who tried to intimidate me and overcharge me for services I don’t need, I finally found a place where I feel cared for and is professional and honest. I have been coming here for the past two years for cleanings and preventative care, and I have never waited more than 30min. I also get seen and get the cleaning from the doctor, not just from a hygienist. Best part is, they have a tv in front of you and on the ceiling so I can watch something I like.

My hygienist Luis and Jessica were amazing for my deep cleaning! Both were so thorough but gentle. Doctor Dan was amazing for my root and extraction on the same day and Doctor Nguyen to do my implant (at a discounted price since insurance doesnt cover anything nowadays) all in the same office highly reccomend them 10/10

My first impression of Queensboro Plaza Dental Care is that it is a clean, modern and beautiful clinic. The moment my husband and I entered the clinic, we were greeted by their friendly receptionist. The waiting area is very clean and has beautiful interiors. They also offer free coffee and drinks, which was a nice treat. I had a dental cleaning and check-up. The hygienist, dental assistant and dentist who saw me were very professional and thorough with their work. They took their time explaining about proper dental hygiene and answered all my questions patiently. Some observations though comparing to my experience visiting other dental clinics. During my cleaning, I was waiting to be asked to rinse or gargle. I did this after my cleaning was finished. In other dental offices that I visited, the hygienist will ask me to rinse my mouth often while cleaning is done. The hygienist did an excellent job though in my cleaning and explaining to me proper dental care. Overall, my experience was great.

TLDR, great routine care with QPD, but I have been disappointed with my recent specialty care experience. The office itself is clean and bright, with efficient and friendly front desk staff, dental techs, and dentists. I have been coming to Queensboro Plaza Dental for almost 2 years for routine bi-annual care with no complaints on scheduling, their handling of new patients and their paperwork, and the quality of care. I have seen Drs. Surdi, Nguyen, Kim, and Smith who have all had excellent bedside manner and explained the health of my teeth adequately. However, my recent (and ongoing) experience with them has been a different story. In the last 1.5 months, I have had over 5 visits (and even more rescheduled) for a relatively uncomplicated post root canal crown follow-up. These visits were to make, insert, and reinsert a temporary crown after visiting an outside endodontist at the beginning of December 2024, with the permanent crown still not in at time of this review. The endodontist had recommended to wait 3-4 weeks after my root canal procedure, but definitely before the holidays, to have my temporary crown procedure done. However, the QPD team said “the next day would be fine.” Given my good experience with QPD, I took the advice of QPD and was measured for my crown the next day. I've since had to return to QPD to replace that temporary crown which had fallen out the day after, re-make the permanent crown due to a bad fit, and reschedule multiple appointments to later dates due to multiple shipping delays from the lab. I recognize that some of this may be out of the office's control (hence why the review is 3/5 stars and not less), but they could have mitigated many of these issues had they been more on top of my case. Following the initial shipping delay, the office had said they would reach out once the crown had arrived. Unfortunately I never received this call, so I had to follow up with the office at the end of 2024 which prompted the discovery of my crown "somewhere in the back." Having my case forgotten and delayed despite my efforts to take QPD's earliest availability at every scheduling (and multiple reminders that I wanted to complete this procedure before January due to impending travel) has led to an even longer delay than necessary to insert the permanent crown, even considering factors beyond the office's control. Additionally, full payment was taken at the very beginning so I cannot help but feel taken advantage of by this office. Overall, feeling disappointed with this recent experience with QPD as I have had no other problems with them recently. I only wish that they had properly set expectations, as I have been reassured at multiple instances that this procedure would be completed before the holidays and yet I am still waiting.

I have always been afraid of dentists, but Dr. Dan, Vicky, and Jackie took away my fears and they are great! I had no pain and they were very caring. The office is beautiful and all of the staff is kind and patient. I have already recommended them to several people. Dr.Dan is a rock star!!!

This place is so clean and super modern. They have the latest and definitely most up to date technology as well. I feel well assured and taken care of. Dr. Nguyen is upfront and very transparent. They also take insurance. I'm covered by Aetna dental. I definitely recommend.
