Dr. Juson and his team at The Orthodontist & Co are incredible. Everyone on the team is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and kind. They helped transform my smile and I am very happy with it. Highly recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic treatment!

I just completed my $275 consultation and decided not to precede with the treatment. Here is my experience at the clinic. Overall/Conclusion: 1. I would ONLY recommend this place if you know you want clear aligners and are not open to any other forms of treatment (braces). Every other situation I would advise against this clinic for the reasonings listed below. Pros: 1. Beautiful Clinic. One of the prettiest clinics I've ever walked into for dental/health related stuff 2. Staff are wonderful and extremely nice. Super catering and patient and I can see where if you were to do treatment with this staff it would be a really pleasant experience. Cons/Context: 1. This clinic recommends aligners to 95% of its patients as the ideal treatment and actively discouraged other forms of treatment (such as braces) 2. Higher costs than average. Average cost for aligner treatments are slightly higher (around 10% from my estimate) (Note: I do think this is worth the cost if you want aligners. I do feel like the service would be top notch here). 3. Claims that there aligning technology is better than Invisalign and braces. (This is factually not true. Aligning technology is the same or roughly comparable with Invisalign being the leading technology. Other competitors only came out due to Invisalign losing there patent. 4. Claims that aligners offer more control than braces. (This is also factually not true.) Generally speaking Invisalign is not better than braces in majority of cases for ideal treatment. Hence why the 95% of patients being recommended aligners as ideal treatment is a red flag. However, I will say that majority of people are best suited for Invisalign due to the benefits of it. Just cause something is clinically an ideal treatment doesn't mean its the best treatment. But I feel that Dr Juson never recommending what is clinically the most ideal treatment isn't the most ethical. Even if he believes aligners is the best treatment. Heavily advising against braces imo isn't good. Quote: "We could do braces but every time you are finished eating - you gotta floss and brush your teeth for 18-24 months." Note: You have to or you should do the same for aligners as well. This wasn't mentioned. The cons of aligners were not mentioned/brought up in any way while for braces that was all that was brought up. ) General context/philosophy: The dental's clinic philosophy is different than other clinics in that Dr Juson believes that aligners are better than traditional forms of braces due to the gradual nature of the teeth movement + comfort and offers more control. I somewhat disagree and feel like the recommended procedure of Aligners to majority of patients is because it is the most cost efficient for the clinic and I do not feel like the recommended procedure is the most ethical. I have a family member who was a Harvard trained dentist with friends being Harvard trained orthodontist. The overwhelming recommendation of 3+ orthodontist and 2 dentists was braces. Overall/Conclusion: 1. I would ONLY recommend this place if you know you want clear aligners and are not open to any other forms of treatment (braces). Every other situation I would advise against this clinic for the reasonings listed above.

It truly feels like a place where both comfort and professionalism are priorities. The staff has consistently been not only friendly but also incredibly patient and understanding. They always take the time to answer my questions and make me feel at ease, whether I’m in for a quick check-up or a longer appointment. It’s clear that everyone is committed to providing the highest level of care and customer service, and I truly appreciate that.

Our family absolutely loves this orthodontic office! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by an amazing space that combines modern industrial design with a welcoming atmosphere. It smells fantastic, looks stunning, and is equipped with top-of-the-line technology that ensures every visit is comfortable and seamless. The front desk staff are wonderful—always friendly and accommodating. Whether it’s booking an appointment or making changes, they respond quickly, even via text, making the whole process effortless. The entire team is incredibly professional and warm. The main orthodontist is exceptional—taking time to personally connect with patients, explain every step of the process, and carefully monitor progress. Our son received early treatment with Invisalign, and the results are incredible! He now has the most beautiful smile, and we’ve received so many compliments. Best of all, he went through the entire experience without a single complaint. Sadly, we’re moving out of Long Island City, so we won’t be able to visit as often, but we’re hoping to continue coming when possible. This office has truly been a standout part of our journey, and we can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for everything!

They say that they accept existing patient transfers from other orthodontic practices - what they don't tell you is that they don't accept transfers of patients with non-"damon" style metal braces. Unless you have your existing braces removed, have new ones installed and sign a brand new contract for another year+ of treatment, they won't accept you, and they are not cheap. I've been in metal braces and in treatment for over a year now with another ortho - I wanted to continue and finish my treatment after moving across the country. The Orthodontist and Co told me that they could do that over the phone - continue my existing treatment - but it wasn't true. They charge $275 for a consult fee. It was only after I paid the fee and went to the office that they told me they can't continue treatment with my current braces. If they had been honest about what they consider "continuing treatment" and who actually qualifies for it, I would not have gone. I requested a refund but they say it's my fault for not understanding. They are all friendly in the office, but this is unacceptable. It's dishonest. Don't say that you offer continued treatment for those patients from other clinics who already have braces if you're not actually doing that but instead pressuring them to reinstall everything from step one. Say you accept new patients but only with the exact style of braces that you offer in office. And to your reply to me on 12/13/24 - No threat was ever made. In my review I simply pointed out that the way the staff told me that you accepted existing patient transfers was dishonest. You could have informed me that you only accept existing patients with metal braces who have damon style braces, because that's what it is. It's not a continuation of treatment if you're going to change the existing hardware to start from step one. It's a new treatment. P.S. This is not being abusive and there was no abuse over the phone. This is me kindly expressing to you and to potential clients why I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated, and pointing out to your staff how to be more transparent with your future potential clients so that there are fewer misunderstandings in the future. Telling a potential client that you can continue their treatment only to inform them after they have paid the consult fee that actually it would be a new treatment with new braces is very different from continuing existing treatment. I did find an orthodontist who was glad to continue my treatment - meaning allowing me to keep the hardware that I'd already had installed, and the consult was free. Thanks.

I just finished my treatment with Dr. Juson and I am so happy with my results. I opted for the Spark aligners because I didn’t want to get braces again. Dr. Juson went through the whole process with me and made me so confident in his work. Now, almost 2 years later, my smile is even more beautiful than before! The office is impeccably clean and high tech. They offer water/ tea when I walk in and there is mouthwash and floss readily available to everyone. When I first walked in, I was so surprised at the first class treatment patients are given.
