Have used this dentist for a few years. The stuff is great, wonderful service and in a new location.

I usually am so anxious when coming to the dentist, but Smile Perfector helped eased all my nerves. The staff were all so kind and explained everything they were doing and each procedure I needed. Each chair had a TV on the ceiling that connected to headphones that allowed me to tune out of the cleaning. Would definitely recommend using them for dentistry needs.

Dr. Shouhed and Sandy are the best! I had a cracked molar and found Smile Perfector on ZocDoc and made an appointment. They were in the middle of moving offices and ended up being closed that day, but Sandy called me and once she realized how much pain I was in, she called Dr. Shouhed to come in on his day off to extract my tooth, which was so kind. Dr. Shouhed was thorough and made sure I was comfortable during the extraction- I had never had any major dental work before so I was super nervous and already in so much pain as I had been in the ER the night before. Dr. Shouhed was very professional and explained everything he was doing, answered any questions I had, and made sure I was comfortable. He also checked in to make sure I was numb enough which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Sandy is also the best- you’ll chat with her when you come in or schedule appointments! She is very empathetic and flexible and always works with my hectic work schedule to get me into the office. It’s also worth noting that I drive from downtown just to see them! The office itself is EXTREMELY clean and everyone working is so professional. From what was an emergency procedure to now being my regular dentist, I cannot recommend Dr. Shouhed and Smile Perfector Dental Group more!

I like most people don’t enjoy the dentist but I can honestly say that Dr Shouhead and his staff make me feel at ease and like family. I drive an hour to come to his office but it’s worth it

I went in for a cleaning after about 1 year from my last dental visit with another provider. Dr.Shouhed helped ease my fears regarding trustworthiness and consistency - things I hadn't experienced with my previous provider and made me hesitant to work with a new dentist. My services were not rushed, everyone greeted me, and I was educated on my dental health and concerns. No surprise costs! I had a great experience and will return.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Shouhed. He is calm, easygoing, and takes his time to make sure that the job is done right. His staff is professional and caring. The attention to details is a huge bonus, from offering water, to putting lip balm on your lips so they don’t dry out during dental work, the nice smelling office, state of the art equipment, temple massages while you wait and text communications. I have found my forever dentist!

In short, do NOT come here for general dentistry. I had a simple filling fall out TWICE in the same month, both installed by Dr. Shouhed. First I’d like to start with the good: The staff was nice, they have a dog there, they offered champagne while I was waiting. The bad: My first visit was a combined total of 4 HOURS for a checkup, cleaning, and fillings. Throughout the wait, I was repeatedly told that the dentist would be "just 15 more minutes" for hours on end. Also, the x-ray machine is very uncomfortable and lengthy with many do over scans. During the drilling for these new fillings he LEFT the room without saying a word. I waited for 15 min with holes in my mouth for the doctor to return. When he returned, the operation felt very rushed. After the insane waiting, I asked if it was a busy day and Dr Shouhed said this happens about every other day (which my multiple experiences confirm)! There is only one dentist on the premises it seems. The UGLY: Less than a week after this visit one of my fillings fell out entirely. So I came in to have them fix it (big mistake). Despite specifically asking for a day where they were not busy, I was left WAITING 45 minutes without being seen! Only when I was about to leave did the staff inform me that the dentist was in emergency surgery for over 4 hours and wouldn’t be available that day. It would have been helpful to know this before I traveled and waited. Then I regretfully went back a THIRD time to finally fix this simple filling. The replacement went smoothly and the dentist cautioned me to “floss gently” and I did. But the filling FELL OUT LATER THAT NIGHT when brushing my teeth. Since they had to drill a deeper hole this time it was very sensitive and painful. I had to go to another dentist and pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket to get the filling properly fixed due to the incompetence of this practice. After getting this fixed elsewhere I have since had no issues. TLDR: They can’t do a simple filling correctly, INSANELY SLOW, poor communication, SUBPAR dental work, and some light upselling for the cherry on top. However, the staff was pleasant. Update 9/30/24: PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Their office attempted to pay me to take down my review! They offered to cover the out-of-pocket cost to fix the filling at another dental practice, as well as my co-pays at their office. I have this offer in writing. To clarify, I didn't even ask for a refund; Dr. Shouhed reached out to me after my review. He expressed concern about how my reviews were affecting him personally and his business. While I understand that reviews can have an impact, I believe it’s important for patients to share their honest experiences. I maintained that I would not be taking down all of my reviews. After weeks of back-and-forth communication, I was informed that no refund would be issued, not even for the co-pay on the botched filling. Beware if you choose to visit this office. They seem more concerned with protecting their reputation than with patient care.

Such a friendly atmosphere as well as professionalism in their craft! Dr. Shouhed was so kind and patient with me when I first met him after letting me know i needed a lot of work done to my teeth. They offer champagne and water to drink while you're in their care as well
