I got Invisalign here- I paid out of pocket and it’s very expensive. My experience was OK. I got a light treatment, where the expected time frame was only 4-6 months, but I really needed something more intense, since I wasn’t happy with results with the first round of retainers. My teeth didn’t look bad but after all the work of wearing Invisalign, I was disappointed with the results. It wasn’t what I had expected bc my teeth were still crooked/looked like I never had Invisalign.Through the process my retainer cracked in half and they told me to keep wearing it. The result being my teeth became uneven and kept clashing against each other when I would eat. It eventually evened out when I got my second round of retainers, but it took an additional 6 months for it to go away.

Dr. Chantal Hakim is very personable, patient, and knowledgeable about holistic dental health—including TMJ—and how to proceed with treatment to correct it. I’m looking forward to being seen here to the completion of my treatment(s).Update:After getting a jaw aligning orthotic, I’m going forward with getting clear aligner braces here to keep my jaw in the correct position from hereon out. The whole office has been really patient, friendly and understanding throughout the entire process and it’s always a pleasant experience to visit them in person. Dr. Isaac and Dr. Chantal are both very professional, knowledgeable and super calming and friendly both to adults and children alike from what I’ve experienced and seen in the office. :)Here’s hoping everything goes according to plan and the clear aligners can do everything that is needed for the desired end result (it was recommended I use traditional braces for the ideal outcome but I am not able to use those due to my profession, so clear aligners were the chosen method for me. Fingers crossed!)

Wonderful service! My son has been coming to Dr. Hakim for a year now and has liked everyone who's treated him. Dr. Hakim is very knowledgeable and skilled, and his entire staff, including front desk staff and dental techs, are friendly and very helpful. Recently, my son broke three brackets and they waived the cost to replace them. They also saw him after hours for a minor emergency that arose. Highly recommend.

I wish there was more than five star rating to be given to both Dr Hakim and Dr Shantel. Dr Hakim and Dr Shantel are both outstanding orthodontist. They have very advanced level knowledge about orthodontic work and jaw alignment. They deal with cases that regular Drs aren’t able to deal with. They also go above and beyond the call of duty to perfect the outcome. They are very dedicated to their patients. Both me and my daughter are ecstatic about her result. She now has a beautiful smile, her jaws and her teeth are aligned and her gums have been pulled upward. It was a very long process but as I said both Hakim Drs are excellent at what they do. My daughter’s process took longer than expected because she had multiple issues to treat but Dr Hakim did not charge me anything extra for the extra time he spent on her. I have tremendous gratitude to him and have recommended this practice to all of my friends and family.

I sought out Dr. Hakim for treatment of my DMJ disorder. He also referred me to an additional specialist since I had recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea. From the initial consultation, he prepared a detailed, actionable treatment plan with options for treatment. The custom orthotic was instrumental in stabilizing my jaw, removing the daily headaches and the physical pain I had been suffering from for a long time - but unaware of the root cause. Everything person in his office is hospitable and kind. I always felt unique and well taken care of at every visit, between visits, and in follow-ups after the treatment was completed. I just had my braces removed and feel immensely grateful to both Dr. Isaac and Chantal Hakim, their assistants Roger and Gabbi, and all the staff of the Ortho SpaceShip. Throughout my braces journey, I always felt in good hands; confident, and gentle at the same time. These doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and create miracles. My case was a complicated one, it required the placement of TADs to close my open bite. I also did not want to remove my wisdom teeth, which created more work. However, Dr. Hakim was willing to listen to my concerns and desires and worked with me very patiently. Helping my mom write her review for this awesome place! She says that all of the staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The first day she went in and got work done on her jaw she slept a full night for the first time in months and all of her head, neck and shoulder pain totally went away! She says the orthodontist is like a sage, he is wise and thoughtful and always so caring in all respects to her and his other patients. The office itself was very nice and clean, it was well organized and just a fun space to be in.

So pleased with how my treatment turned out! The Drs. Hakim (the OG Dr. Hakim and Dr. Chantal) are both excellent. The front staff and technicians are great too, everyone in that practice took such good care of me. Let's not pretend getting braces is fun, especially as an adult, but if you need any orthodontic treatment at any age this is the BEST place. I had all sorts of problems with my teeth, bite, and jaw. Dr. Hakim walked me through all the issues, laid out options, and came up with a treatment plan that avoided dental implants and jaw surgery (apparently cases as bad as mine often require surgery). They were very clear about how to maintain dental hygiene so now that my braces are off I don’t have any issues with my gum or tooth health. It was long journey, but my jaw feels normal, my teeth actually fit together, and for the first time I feel confident with my smile! Thanks everyone at ortho spaceship!
