Family Smiles of Lubbock

The experience was long (2+hours), as my past experiences have been at Family Smiles. However, the dentist addressed this and professionally advised a dental technician that "patient care should come first" during my visit as I was waiting in one of the back rooms. The dentist, that is at our location temporarily, was considerate and informative. Both dental assistants were friendly. The front office ladies were welcoming. I left today with a more positive interaction than I have had previously at this location.

From a year ago to now, this dentistry has changed most of its staff, and therefore also changed its service. I left a bad review for my eight-year-old daughter, however, my husband made an appointment without me knowing, to the same location and to my surprise, the whole staff has flipped over. Dr. Joshua was the one that handled my husband’s procedure. From the very beginning he was very professional, and took the time to explain every detail to us. He was very informative and this made a huge difference in our experience. The day of the tooth extraction he conducted himself with the upmost professionalism, while adding a very personal touch to the experience. He has changed the way we see this dentistry and we will be back again.

I am glad they got me in last minute. I thought I had a major problem. The dentist addressed my concerns . Told me what to do to fix it. What he said worked.While I was waiting in the waiting room, I saw kids running around in the back. One kid almost got out into the waiting room. The kids were loud.Not sure, if I am coming back after my next visit.Update:I was there for a cleaning recently. My weight, was not recorded right. Had to tell the dentist about the mistake. The blood pressure machine bothered my hand. I found a hair on the dental chair. The hygienist was not that friendly.
