West Texas Oral Facial Surgery

I just underwent a molar extraction with Dr. Higley & his staff. The molar was fragile, due to an old root canal & this was in preparation for an implant. After visiting two separate dental surgeons, I chose this office! Just an excellent doctor, nurse, dental assistant & support staff. They vere professional, kind & very busy. Both dentists seem superb.

I was dreading the long weekend with my tooth issue, but Dr. Barrett and all his staff at West Texas Oral Facial Surgery were able to schedule me in on Friday on short notice. They were all amazing and accommodating. Even down to the nice warm blanket they put on me while performing my procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Barrett and all his staff for all your dental needs.🙂

Every person in Dr. Barrett’s office is excellent. Their attention to detail is wonderful and made us feel very comfortable during my mother’s dental extraction and she is 88 years old. Treated us with kindness and respect. And that was our first experience with Dr. Barrett. We will definitely use him in the future and I highly recommend him and his staffto anyone.

This place is amazing!!!!! Dr.Higley is the best!!!! I had 5 implants done and I never once had any pain with them Dr.Higley was very good and pretty fast had all the implants done and out the door in 2 hours in my book that's pretty impressive.... I would tell anyone that needs any type of oral surgery done this is the place to go...... The staff was amazing and awesome!!!!!!

Words cannot begin to describe how grateful and thankful I am for Dr Barret. I went to have a wisdom tooth removed for what I thought was an abscess that turned out to be Stage IV B Cell/Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. If he hadn’t decided to do a biopsy, because the swelling in my jaw wouldn’t go down, I’m not sure what would have happened. I am now celebrating 2 years cancer free after going thru 16 rounds of chemotherapy.I tell ALL of my other Doctors and my Physicians at MD Anderson hospital that the Oral Surgeon found it and I’m so Grateful. This review should have been done sooner, but I wanted you to be aware of the outcome. It could have been very different had I decided to cancel my appointment because my tooth pain wasn’t that bad. Dr. Barrett & his entire staff & facilities are EXCELLENT. They provided extensive dental surgery on me & my husband & I have a tremendous fear of dentists, dental surgeons & all procedures due to past care, long ago, provided by a different dentist, but Dr Barrettt & all staff explained everything well, let me ask.questions & answered well, kept me at peace & as comfortable as possible, at all times. HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

I am a new patient of Dr Higley but had the BEST experience!!The doctor along with his entire office staff plus his nurses were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.My procedure (tooth extraction plus two implants) was throughly explained and all of my concerns were addressed. I felt comfortable with scheduling this procedure and the financial aspect was throughly explained to us.I had the most amazing nurses on the day of surgery. I received the Best Possible care from the staff and doctors at the office of Dr. Barrett and Dr. Higley in Lubbock. Whether we admit it or not, we are all a bit apprehensive about surgical procedures, but the entire staff at West Texas Oral Facial Surgery treats you with kindness and gentleness to help you feel totally at ease. I have hemophilia, which complicates my surgical cases, but I was well taken care of at this office. Every possible care was taken with me. From a thorough explanation of the planned procedure, through post surgery, everything is handled with care and the utmost kindness. I am a 22 yr breast cancer survivor & as a result my teeth had deteriorated badly. Since I had been treated with Aredia for my bones I could not find a dentist who would treat me.Dr Higley was recommended to me by Dr P Jay Merrell via Joe Arrington Cancer Ctr, where I am a long time patient.I have had oral surgery & and will ultimately be fitted for dentures andor implants….i would highly recommend these doctors.
