Lisenby Orthodontics

The service was great, however for billing purposes I am going to stand by this review, I am still being charged for services that was paid in full by my daughter and still have not reached a resolution. I was told that someone would follow up and they have not. I don’t mind paying for services rendered but to have to pay for services and they have already been paid for and not to have this resolved in a timely manner is not the type of service that I appreciate.

After being referred to this office by my dentist and my husband completing 2 years of invisaligne with them, I decided to go for an invisaligne consultation. I have almost perfectly straight teeth, as I went through 4 years of orthodontics care in high school. I just wanted to tweek a few things. The consultation took 2 hours, mostly because Dr. Lisenby wanted to tell me how awful my teeth were, how I needed to whiten, and he showed me 45 minutes of other cases unrelated to mine. After all that, I was asked to come back in 3 weeks to get a price! I went through the appointment patiently. As I left the office, I was sent a text to review my appointment. The following was my review "Better time management. I wasted almost 2 hours for a consultation. Listen to the customer. Give the bottom line. Not everyone needs to hear about all the other cases you have dealt with. Be more positive. Not everyone wants to hear you tell them how terrible you think their teeth look just because you are trying to sell products." A week later, the office called to let me know they appreciated the review and would be severing our patient/ doctor relationship at this time! SERIOUSLY?! They cannot handle constructive criticism.

Awesome consult with Dr. Lisenby and his staff. I'm excited about the dental work my child will receive and I look forward to the outcome. We had a great experience with my oldest daughter's braces. My youngest daughter's experience became a bit rocky, BUT the staff took the time to listen to my concerns and frustrations and addressed the problems. In my opinion, no business can always be great, so it's the businesses that strive to do better and show genuine concern for those they serve that really are the best businesses.

Dr. Lisenby is a highly compassionate, intelligent, and kind person and professional. I recieved orthodontic care from him as a 12-13 year old, and 10 years later my teeth still look awesome! If you are looking for a professional, painless, and seamless experience with an Orthodontist who is the top of their field, I would highly recommend Lisenby Orthodontics! All of the dental hygienists/orthodontic technicians were always super nice and empathetic to me too. All around great experience

I was referred to this office by a great friend of mine who is currently in braces. Let me first say that Dr. Lisenby was great and very friendly, and many of the staff members were also with getting me through the first steps of getting my braces. I had to get dental work done of course that was very pricey, but I was excited about getting braces so it didn’t matter. The office sent me back to my dentist to have the work done, and to come back once completed. I had all the work completed within a week and a half and I went back in for a follow up to make sure things were good to go. They said everything was fine and did the final steps so the next thing I would have to do if discuss financial and proceed with having braces put on. They originally said they would call and schedule my appointment a few weeks out, which I had no problem because I just spend a couple hundred dollars for dental work. They later called me back a few hours later on the Thursday that I went and asked me to come in back in Monday to have them put on. I was shocked because they acted as if it would take a couple weeks to have my plan reviewed and etc. They were selling me the braces as if it was a good deal and the best they’ve seen in a while and persuading me to get it. I was fine with going ahead because I was so excited, but then they wanted an egregious down payment and I asked if they could work with me as I just spend several hundreds in dental work just within the last week and it’s such short notice. The office was addiment about the down payment amount, so I just went ahead and agreed to it. So I scheduled my appointment to go and I when I get there I had a lot of questions that the staff was unable to answer and I was confident going into the braces, so I asked them to contact the doctor since they wasn’t knowledgeable about the questions I asked. So I then rescheduled again and when I reschedule I thought the lady said something about 915, but I wasn’t sure, however they always send an email with the appointment confirmation and it said 9:45. Traffic was very heavy and I got there about 9:58, and as soon as I walked through the door “Holly” didn’t even greet me, and she said “your appointment was at 9:15, and it now 9:59, there was a 30 min grace period and you missed that so you won’t be seen today and you’ll need to be rescheduled”. I then apologized and advised that I must have misunderstood and my email said 9:45, she stated “well right here in the system it say 9:15 and you’re late, so you’ll need to reschedule”. I then said, so why is there two different appointment times and why didn’t my email say the first appointment time? She stated you had a financial appointment and for your braces and your late so you’ll need to reschedule. The entire time she was rude and had tude in her voice. The was very unprofessional and I advised her that I had been having great experiences up untilNow and I that may have to find another orthodontics, and she the stated “I’m definitely sorry to hear that you feel that way, have a nice day”. She was being sarcastic and had to sympathy about losing a customer that a going to bring them several thousands of dollar plus other referrals. Holly made this experience very bad and I don’t look to go back there or refer anyone there.

My experience at Dr. Lisenby’s was definitely much more than I expected from the reception, techs everyone I encountered in the office. My consultation with Dr Lisenby was very thorough. He is definitely a people person and easy to relate to. I was never rushed as he took time to explain my problem areas and how he would correct them. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I had recently move to Georgia and the retainers I had from a previous orthodontist were all broken and gross. I was able to easily make an appointment to see if I could get new ones, even though I didn’t get braces from him. The process was really quick and easy, my new retainers came in within a week ( the wait time is usually 2-3weeks I believe) and the quality is sooo much better than my old ones. 10/10 would recommend.

WOW! Too many good things to say- this office has an incredible location located conveniently off of Peake Road near many middle and high schools. Dr. Lisenby and his staff are kind, engaging, and willing to help you with any patient needs. The ease of appointment, quick followup, and Invisalign treatment is superb. The middle Georgia community has received 5 star treatment from him, and he is rated one of the top Orthodontic practices in the Macon, GA area.

I cannot say enough great things about this office. Dr. Lisenby created my smile about 12 years ago and I enjoyed the environment, staff, and amazing transformations so much this office is the reason i persued a career in the Dental field. I am now a hygienist and even went back to work for Dr. Lisenby for a while a few years ago while transitioning after college and this office really still has everything that inspired me years ago. The technology is top notch. The team’s charisma is unbeatable, thier experience and skill-unparalleled. Highly reccommend.
