I think that there are a good chunk of nice people here, they try to support you with what they have. But as a teen who struggled a lot with their mental health and then a young adult who had hard times in college, I felt I was treated like I had purposely messed up my teeth a lot. It was not always kind. There was also another orthodontist there (not Gerling) that would tell me my parents were the only ones who could make decisions (like removing my tongue tie) as a young adult. There was also someone who had tried to have me write a 5-star review and looked over my shoulder VERY close to me the whole time. They didn't want to leave until I pressed submit, but I pressed a button on google to go back. (On a separate platform) That never happened again, but it was a very unpleasant experience.I think here is a good place if you don't already struggle with your mental health, or if you're looking for somewhere for your very young children so that they stay children for the duration of their needs.

My experience with Dr. Ryan and his wonderful staff was top notch! Everyone was so nice and very knowledgeable. My son and I felt comfortable and extremely confident in the services recommended and provided! This was my son's second consultation and the difference in service and level of expertise was clear! I highly recommend Dr. Ryan Orthodontist!

Great clinic! We've had 2 check-ups for my child being evaluated for braces/overbite treatment with Dr. Ryan. I was grateful that they have not pushed for braces sooner than indicated and the service has been amazing! My child literally counts down until the next follow-up. They make the experience excellent for the whole family and invest in our community.

This the best orthodontist clinic ever! There is so many fun things to do. Their staff is amazing, they also don’t take a long time on the procedures and they barely ever hurt!JUST GOT BRACES OFF I AM GOING TO MISS THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!! They are so good to their patients ❤️

I cannot say enough about our experience with everyone at McAllen Orthodontic! From the second you walk in the door you are given the white glove treatment! Every staff member goes out of their way to make you feel special and comfortable. It’s not cliché to say they truly make you feel like family. It’s impossible to leave without a smile on your face while looking forward to the next visit. Thank you for making my son who is terrified of the dentist feel so at ease and comfortable! Truly a stellar experience!

I walked into the orthodontist’s office with teeth that resembled a chainsaw massacre. It was a sight to behold! But fear not, for Melissa, the dental fairy godmother, came to my rescue. With a swish and flick of her magical wand, she performed her bibbidi bobbidi boo magic, and voila! My smile transformed from a horror show to a dazzling masterpiece. Our first visit was amazing! Friendly and caring staff and doctors. This place isn’t like any other dentist clinic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They have activities for kids; thats not just TVs or tablets, but encourage reading, learning and creativity. Doctor and staff were thorough in explaining treatment plan and offered payment plans. My kids are excited and looking forward to returning!

We just had our first visit and we were instantly greeted by the friendly staff.This is like the Disneyland of dentist clinics.My son just started treatment but I feel confident that we made the right decision coming here. Dr Ryan is great!
