*Edit* After leaving a 2 star rating and the following review, Mckinney Orthodontics was quick to answer. Instead of getting a call the next business day (as the voicemail suggested), they called me back just a couple hours after I posted the review!! They explained they were in the Allen office that day and it was a one off thing, because they would usually at the Mckinney office on that day so Google would not have reflected the correct hours. They were able to get my daughter in and fix the wire that was sticking through her cheek by 3:30 or 3:45. Excellent customer service!!Original review: I have been trying to get in touch with this office for several hours as my daughter has a wire sticking into her cheek from her braces. It is now 1:15 pm on a non- holiday Monday. The office says it’s open on Google, so I thought I would drive here to make an appointment (incase they left their voice mail on after lunch). No one is here. Doors are locked. They are NOT open on Monday as suggested, nor is there any sort of answering services. You can only leave a message and they say they will return it the next business day. Very frustrating!

Being new to Texas, I had read many reviews and felt reassured that Dr Lofgren and his team would be a perfect fit. For the past year, every appointment has been met with great customer service and all questions answered quickly and accurately.The entire office team is always polite and kind and are able to offer several options for appointments.

We are sooooo thankful for Doctor Lofgren and his staff. Dr. Lofgren is the best orthodontist and did a phenomenal job on my daughter's teeth. She had super messed up teeth and he got them perfectly straight. Her smile is beautiful.Everyone there is so nice and kind and they always explain everything and answer any questions we had.The orthodontists and staff go over and beyond and we are super thankful for them.

My son Mart get his treatment here. The doctor explain to us how it’s gonna be the process and it is very helpful. Every time my son have appointment and I am the one who come with him we are always welcome and the vibe of the waiting area is very comfortable and clean. From the receptionist/front desk to the technician to the doctors they are all professional and very accommodating. Today my son got off his braces and we are so happy with the result. We came to the McKinney office to get a second opinion when we first started the process of getting braces for my son. I'm so glad we did this! They were very thorough with the explanation of the whole process from starting with expanders to brackets and such. hey were very patient and very detailed with answers to our numerous questions. I knew right then that we had had made the right choice. The entire office staff has been very friendly and easy to work with when it came to scheduling appoints and even rescheduling them at times for unforeseen circumstances. I highly recommend them!

We are on child #3 for orthodontics (expanders, braces) and have stuck with this practice because they are the best! We have seen both Dr. Ghosh and Dr. Lofgren and cannot recommend them enough. Each of my children have had different dental issues and the first two have had fantastic results—I have no doubt that #3 (in progress) will have a fabulous smile at the end of her treatment. The office staff is also wonderful—courteous, friendly and always keeping us up to speed. We are always able to get timely appointments and never have a long wait when we’re visiting the office. I highly recommend McKinney Orthodontics!

I myself am a 14 year old girl who was very insecure about her teeth two years ago.I saw getting braces during covid as the perfect opportunity and i’m so happy we came here!My orthodontists we’re amazing and very friendly.Everyone was so friendly and i broke quite a few brackets haha.I loved my experience here and would recommend anyone come here most definitely!

We love McKinney Orthodontics. Their treatment plans are honest, timely, and affordable. We appreciated the quick wait times for appointments, the efficiency of the appointments, and the ease of needing to quickly schedule if we had a broken bracket etc. The entire staff is outstanding. And additionally, our boys' teeth look amazing! Great orthodontist office all-around!

Our experience with having 2 children with braces simultaneously could have turned into a nightmare at so many levels, but somehow Dr. Jay Ghosh, Dr Trent Lofgren and the staff at at McKinney Orthodontics made the experience so easy and pain free. From the initial consultations, to the final bracket being removed, we were always treated with respect, almost as if we were family!! Our kids never once complained about going to the orthodontist….maybe about having to remember elastics, but never the appointments LOL!!If you are considering braces or other orthodontia work, I would highly recommend McKinney Orthodontics (or their sister Creekview in Allen)
