We love this place. Our 4th is starting treatment and we are excited for him. The staff here is excellent. They will help answer any questions you may have and are very informative of what you will need to have done. They are pretty good about your appointment times so there is very little waiting. We appreciate Dr Jeff and his whole staff.

Both of my boys (age 12 & 9) go to Alba and I couldn't be happier with our experience. All the staff are so nice, and Dr Jeff explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. I appreciate their willingness to let nature take its course rather than jump straight in to costly appliances (though I am sure braces are in our future). The one time my son had issues with his retainer, they were very accommodating and got us in right away. The fresh baked cookies are a plus too!

My son started at Alba last summer and we have been impressed so far. They thoroughly explained the process and timeline for his palate expander and transition to braces and made sure we were comfortable with the at home scanning technology they use to monitor progress. We appreciate the friendly staff and the ease of which we’ve been able to schedule a same day appointment when there is an issue. My son actually looks forward to his appointments!

Only doctor’s office I enjoy going too. The staff is amazing, they know how to have fun and laugh with me as a patient! And Dr. Alba is hands down the best. He knows his craft better than anyone and can tell me in simple words what to expect.If you are looking for a great orthodontist look no further. All your expectations will be meet with this team!

I have always enjoyed Alba orthodontics and their work, but I was a little disappointment with my last visit. I was home from dental school on winter break, when my dog obliterated my retainer. I would have gotten a new one from my school, but because I religiously wear my retainer and I am a previous patient, I wanted to get a new one while I was home for break. They couldn't make a new one until the new year because they were closed (which was fine), but until the office reopened, I would already be back at school. They wanted me to come back in for an adjustment which would take 10 minutes, but I won't be back in Mechanicsburg until my spring break. I had asked if I could have my fiancé pick it up for me, and they kept saying "well we never do this". Mind you, if I really need an adjustment I can get it readjusted here at my dental school, plus, I had already paid for the retainer. After being put on hold for ten minutes, they finally agreed (with reluctancy) which I appreciated. However, when my fiancé went to pick it up, they made sure to tell him that "we never do this", which I felt was a little unneccessary considering they had already told me that multiple times on the phone and in person. Overall, I was a little disappointed considering Dr. Alba and his team were one of the original reasons why I wanted to pursue dentistry.Edit: I received a very nice response from the Alba orthodontics team, and will update my original review. Thank you for your attention and respect towards your patients. :)

I just had my son’s first consultation the other week and it was a great experience. When I got there we hardly waited at all. Kate took us in and started with a tour and then went onto my son’s pictures. They showed us his pictures and why he needs top and bottom expanders along with braces. They showed us how they would do this and long the whole treatment process will take for phase 1. The whole process went very smoothly and very happy with everything so far.

Always enjoy our visits. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I really appreciate how the office pretty much runs on the scheduled appointment time and has my daughter in and out pretty quickly!!10/18/2023- very pleased with the end result!! We are in the beginning phases of treatment for my kids, and I can’t say enough nice things about this practice. The staff and doctors are so kind and professional. They take their time, and explain everything so well. They genuinely care about their patients. The online monitoring system for aligners is a game changer for my busy family. The doctors and staff are always available to message through the app if we have questions. The practice has a warm family feel, but with cutting edge technology. They also always have fresh baked cookies, which is a bonus for my kids.

Very welcoming and professional. The extra amenities they provide such as the game room, teeth brushing station and free cookies go a long way with my daughter. She loves coming to her appointments, she even looks forward to them. The scan boxes for weekly updates to the doctor allow more flexibility with appointments and I don’t have to come in weekly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

Best ortho on the West Shore! Two of our family members have received care here. Thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. The place is clean, organized, & efficient, and uses some of the most cutting edge technology to help you achieve your goals. I feel important and heard every time I'm there. Plus, the fresh baked cookies are a nice bonus. :)
