The staff is relatively friendly, no frills orthodontic office. Definitely a “you get what you pay for” kind of place. My only (which is kinda a big deal) the final pricing wasn’t explained ahead of my visit to make the definite decision so the option with the 10% to pay in full vs the payment plan was discussed. Because I was using my HSA it was timely processing. What I wasn’t aware of was the order for my liners were never placed pending full payment, creating a delay in treatment :( (so we’re talking about 2.5 weeks) as I understood I would still have the option to use what was submitted as a “down payment” and still elect a payment plan. I scheduled the p/u around a very tight training schedule which likely further delay treatment. I surely hope this is the only bump in this road. I’m already kicking myself for choosing cost over care

CT Braces is amazing! The entire process from start to finish has been amazing, Yasmerry and Michael have been great, customer service and support is unmatched and they made what I thought was going to be a painful experience, a smooth and enjoyable one. Michael is my tech and he’s the absolute best. Patient with me, and took his time to walk me through the installation process and he never makes me feel bad about coming in for repairs. Thank you both! Highly recommend!

I'm usually very hesitant to second guess expert advice, but my teeth have bothered me basically perpetually since I got treatment a year ago. Dr. Lee filed my front 4 teeth, eventually causing them to shift in a way that was unnatural and left them looking very unnatural as well. Everything else about my experience was fine or great, but as a result of above I wish I had never even gotten treatment.

The attentive nature, attention to detail, great customer service and such an inviting environment. I left so happy and satisfied with my service. All involved from front desk, to the coordinator, to the other assistants were so awesome. The doctor is knowledgable and amazing and this is one appointment I look forward to. Amazing place everyone should try. Its more like visiting family then an uptight office. Cannot rave about this office enough.

The employees here are the most unprofessional and the business practices are very shady. Each time I have a discussion with an employee here, they quote several prices for the same exact procedure. In addition when you have a conversation with anyone here, no notes or records are made. So when you attempt to remind them of what was discussed, they are completely clueless and deny discussions ever happened. They will then quote new prices which are often double , triple or quadruple what was initially discussed even when the initial conversation/price quote happened an hour ago. This has happened SO MANY times to me here, it’s ridiculous! It’s infuriating! Please record your conversations with employees here as it will be your only defense with this business. They do not honor information provided in consultations. They do not truly care about their clients and will dismiss your concerns in order to make money.UPDATEAfter posting this review I was contacted by May from the customer service department at CT Braces. May has excellent customer service skills and has been working closely with the New Haven office to correct the issue I mentioned above. Speaking with May was like a breath of fresh air and quite the opposite from the treatment I received previously from the office staff. She went above and beyond to try to assist me in any way she could. She personally gets a 10 star rating. The other office staff however still needs some work but I do appreciate their proactiveness to correct the issue. As a result, I have updated my rating for them from 1 star to 3 stars.

Went to CT Braces for a consultation and I have to say they were awesome. I was assisted by Josh who was able to answer all my questions professionally in a way I could understand. What I loved the most was that he wasn't rushing when he was speaking with me he took his time and made sure that I understood everything. Which is something that offices lack these days. I definitely recommend CT braces for you and your family. I will definitely go back.

I have been going to CT Braces New Haven office for about 2 years now , my oldest son and I receiving treatment at the same time , and now my youngest is starting treatment here as well. The entire staff has been not only phenomenal but also incredibly caring and friendly throughout our visits, additionally, the accommodating scheduling has made it convenient for me to fit appointments into our busy life. Dr. Amirtha's expertise and excellent care has made our orthodontic journey smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend CT Braces to anyone in need of orthodontic treatment in the New Haven area.

Overlong wait. More communication about insurance coverage (for a preliminary consultation, mind you). Despite being referred to twice in her presence as son’s mom, correcting her when she called me “Grandma”, she called me grandma three times. I told her if she did it again, I would leave. Intake questioning was repetitive but left many unasked questions that I had to push to provide; poor attention to detail. Limited Sat hrs. Orthodontist seemed knowledgeable.

I went to CT braces yesterday for a consultation and walked out with braces! The entire process was absolutely seamless. Everyone was so nice to the point that I had to ask why everyone was nice lol. I work in healthcare so it feels amazing to walk into an establishment and to be greeted by someone like Marilyn who was just a breath a fresh air, kind, and explained payment options patiently. Marilyn might have been the best part of this experience! Then there was Ayanna who took her time in taking my X-rays, very personable and friendly. The woman who actually completed the procedure was also amazing. Just a clean, and amazing establishment all together! 5 stars, would recommend 100%!
