Fabulous experience! I went to Dr Kim for a tricky root canal. Dr Kim and her crew were fantastic, they eased my fears, explained every step and even played songs to make me comfortable. Dr Lakhanpal saved my year by an emergency root canal treatment - after a long period of lingering pain followed by unbearable pain, the root canal treatment was painless, quick and clean! She provided detailed & clear instructions on how to take care of the tooth, pain management and also followed up to check whether it feels ok the same day and also after a week! I was referred to Dr. Sara Kim by my dentist for an emergency root canal on Jan 11, 2024. Dr. Sara Kim ia a miracle worker and the only way I can sum this up is by saying Dr. Kim is of superb professionalism and a true expertise in her work, compassionate and very gentle. She pays close detail to the patient, how they are doing before surgery, during surgery and after the surgery. Her staff is very attentive, well organized, showed a great deal of kindness and professional communication by thoroughly. Dr. Kim and her staffs made me feel so relaxed and comforting that I had a very good experience. Dr Kim called me the next day to check on me. I'm very impressed. Dr. Lakhanpal puts the ‘compassion’ and Dr. Kaplan puts the ‘passion’ in the name. I had a complex 2-part root canal that I was nervous about due to the amount of pain. She walked me through every step of the procedure and was very warm and accomodating. I never hope to have a root canal again, but if I do, I would come back and I live 1hr away. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kim was excellent in treating my unique tooth complication. She explained my condition, her process for assisting me, and ultimate outcomes in a way that I could understand. She checked in on me in between appointments and scheduled time to see on the day I had a dental emergency. Dental work can be a painful and scary experience but with Dr. Kim it was a pleasure. I had a very difficult root canal, and was turned down by another doctor due to its complexity. Dr. Kaplan came up to the challenge and saved my molar in two sessions. I felt I was in excellent care, his knowledge and expertise are evident in his work and attention to his patients. I was guided and informed and was confident I was in the best hands. I cannot recommend a better surgeon. His team was also very attentive, reducing my anxiety throughout the entire process.Although Dr. Kaplan does not take insurance, I most likely wouldn’t have been able to save my tooth going to a different doctor. I will always be thankful to him and his team. Highly recommend.

This is a remarkable office. Every single person I've met who works here. Reception, insurance and billing, technicians, nurse and the doctor who has treated me, Dr. Kim. She is smart, kind, concerned, thoughtful, thorough, simply superb at what she does. Dr. Kim takes the time to explain all the possible forms of treatment before hand and to explain what she has done and what lies ahead when she has completed her work. If you come in on a referral, rest assured she will be communicating reguarly with the dentist who referred you (something that should but does not always happen in all areas of medicine). She is great at follow through and no symptom or worry is too small for her compassion and concern. I laughed when I first heard the name -- Compassionate Endodontists -- but these people are compassionate and more. When I returned from a visit for something that I was worried about but that turned out to be a minor matter -- Dr. Kim was covering for my dentist and squeezed me in on a really busy Friday -- I said to my spouse: I hope you never have to go to see Dr. Kim, but if you do, it is a great office and she is the very best.

I asked Dr. Kaplan to examine my root canal treated teeth for reinfection. He found an infection in one of the teeth due to the missing of one canal at the original treatment by another dentist. Dr. Kaplan did a thorough retreatment job through three sections. He is very detail oriented and is willing to spend plenty of time to do a good job. 3D scans were used. He is very caring and called me at night to make sure everything is ok. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Kaplan.
