I was referred to Dr Iofin by my dentist Dr Arteaga. I had a front tooth apicoectomy surgery that was treated 54 years ago, and now again became infected. Only two options were available, retreat the apicoectomy or extraction. Dr. Iofin retreated my infected tooth, the surgery was painless and recovery was amazingly comfortable and quick. I went to Dr. Iofin with a bad toothache and suspected I might need a root canal. After a thorough 3D X-ray and thermal test, he clearly explained what was happening and the treatment plan. Although I was nervous due to root canals' bad reputation, I was in pain and decided to go through with it. Dr. Iofin made the procedure quick and much more bearable than I expected. I came here in May for a root canal, and 4 months later I am still in pain with my tooth. I went back and he did a 3D X-ray, and said nothing was wrong. I really think he missed a canal. He was expensive, and would not care if I was free of pain. I would not recommend him at all.

If you think it is impossible to sleep through a root canal, think again. After more than five years of pain I had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Iofin. Dr. Iofin is the most effective, gentle and kind Endodontist you will find. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the solution in a manner that obliterated the fear factor in root canals. The root canal was totally painless and I was so comfortable that I slept through most of it. Dr. Iofin is very down to earth and has a calming demeanor. The cost of the root canal was very reasonable, especially considering that Dr. Iofin is a Harvard trained doctor with very impressive credentials. Additionally, there was a very thorough follow up appointment six months later. It has been a year since my root canal and I am thrilled that years of pain have been put to rest.
