Very good experience! He's very patient and understanding, genuinely interested in getting to the root (no pun intended) cause of the issue rather than pushing for unnecessary treatments and or medications for the sake of $$. Highly recommend you go see him for any dental issues! :)

Dr. Zemelman has been looking after my teeth ever since moving to the city and I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better dentist. Over the years I’ve had everything from routine checkups, simple fillings to impacted wisdom teeth removals, I’d received caring, courteous and painless service every time. He’s a highly experienced professional, nothing like the pushy, aggressive salespeople type dentists that sadly NYC has so many of, he’ll never push unnecessary procedures on you. I’m very grateful to have him as my general dentist.

Dr. Michael Zemelman has been my General Dentist for over 20 years! The office is new and conveniently located in the Battery Park area of Manhattan. Everyone who works there; from the Dental Assistants to the Receptionist, are welcoming and friendly. They always seem to find time to accommodate my schedule. I am really grateful to Dr. Michael and his staff for the care I received. I moved to NYC area 3 years ago and couldn't find a good dentist since then. I had serious dental problems and was recommended to go for implant in 2 other dental practices. Fortunately, a colleague suggested I should visit Dr. Michael. He is very knowledgeable, professional and caring, a dentist who strives to do what is best for the patient's health. Following Dr. Michael's recommendation, I quickly started to feel better and am getting the tooth restored! What makes a difference to me: Professionalism - Dr. Michael is performing a wide range of procedures, whereas at my prior dental practice similar work required coordination between several doctors, which took me multiple hours for appointments and coordination and resulted in little outcome. At Dr. Michael's, I was able to get help in a quick and efficient way. Al of my 3 visits were ~ 1 hour long and pain free. Caring attitude - I feel that the ultimate goal at Dr. Zemelman's practice is to help the patient get healthy and recommend the best known course of actions as opposed to selling (to recall, I was actively pushed for implants /extraction elsewhere). All of the staff (Irina, who is assisting, Tatiana - taking care of reception and billing) are wonderful and create a very positive and kind atmosphere. It's a pleasure to visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

The doctor's did not listen to patients and I felt scolded and talked down to every visit. After a year and a half of insisting I didn't need a flouride rinse or polish, they found 8 cavities and wanted to drill I got a second opinion and the cavities are not active. I needed to visit an orthodontist instead.
