I recently had my second appointment with Dr. Chubak and after a consultation with 3D imaging it was determined the tooth in question couldn’t be saved and therefore a root canal wasn’t possible. This was very crucial information for me because I previously had an endondontist who wasn’t able to identify something similar until it was too late. Dr. Chubak/JC Endodontics has excellent imaging technology which Dr. Chubak used to deftly explain in detail why the tooth couldn’t be saved and had his friendly and organized front desk staff call my oral surgeon to arrange an appointment for an extraction. While my tooth couldn’t be saved Dr. Chubak and JC endodontics ultimately saved me time and money to get me to the appropriate procedure for my tooth’s condition. Wouldn’t think twice about visiting again for any endodontic issue.

Dr Chubak and his team educated me on everything I needed for a successful appointment. From insurance to payment and how to take care of my teeth/jaw pain. They walked me through the procedure and why they thought the chosen treatment plan would help. For the first time, I made it through a root canal without shaking or crying. I was referred here by my dentist due to the complexity of the redo of a root canal that I had gotten done back in my teens. Let’s say that over ten years later, I knew something was not right with that tooth. My dentist spoke highly of the practice and sent me to have the tooth repaired with the JC Endodontics team. I could easily book an appt with them over the phone, and they squeezed me in for their soonest available appt. Thankfully, the office was quick to find, next to easy subway access. When I arrived for my consultation, all the front desk staff were lovely, the office vibes were great, and everything was clean and smelt clean. I elected to take an extra cost x-ray to get a good look at my teeth and get the best insight into what has been happening in the tooth and how to tackle the next steps. I was assigned Doctor Hanna Heck to start the repair work on my first return visit. Doctor Heck informed me on what was set to take place, possible complications that might arise, and a schedule on how the process would take and answered all my many questions very thoroughly, which helped me be at ease getting things started. Knowing there is a chance your whole tooth can crack, getting a metal post out would, for the most part, make anyone nervous about getting started. The oral assistant assigned to me during my visits was also great; she was super fun to chat with, and we had great vibes. These small moments continued to ease my worries about the procedure and helped further increase my trust in their team. The finance team broke down my costs so that it made sense and helped me make the payments in two sessions, which was great because we all know how expensive teeth work can be. I don’t feel like their rates were unreasonable, especially given the complexity of the work I needed on this tooth. After my return visit two weeks later, Doctor Heck completed a miracle by redoing the root canal. She addressed the deficiencies from the prior root canal; she ensured that the tooth was safely taken care of, yielding no cracks in my tooth despite the high risk of that possibly happening. Doctor Heck was beyond efficient; she knew exactly what to do and how to address all steps with great detail, and the post-procedure x-ray confirmed that she had done a fantastic job. From start to finish, she was always kind and knowledgeable, helped answer all my questions, and let me be my silly self during each visit. I am beyond grateful that I had the chance to work with her because she does know what she is doing. The procedure result was something I was so proud of, and I was so happy to finally have my decade-long worries put to rest, knowing that I was right that something was wrong with that tooth and had the best doctor to help me arrive at a long-term solution. You can tell the doctors who practice here are experts in their craft. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone considering it, and I have to many of my friends who need work done on prior root canals. Efficient service. Answered all my questions. Suggested that I should not do certain procedures because will cost me a lot where cheaper procedures would achieve better results, although, for that I should search other specialists because they don't offer them. They were able to tell me on the spot how much my procedures would cost me with my insurance. Overall that was one of the fastest and best services I have received in a dentist office. I'm pretty impressed.

I had to have a dreaded root canal, but I spoke with Dr.Forghani at JC Enodontics before he performed my procedure. I have to say he’s a skilled Veteran in his specialty!! Dr. Chubak was great! I am several weeks out from my root canal and am feeling no pain at all! My root was a more complex procedure since it was curved and Dr. Chubak put me at ease with answering my questions and was able to complete the procedure all in one day with minimal soreness. Front desk was very easy to work with and I’m glad my dentist referred me here!

Never have I experienced the most efficient, well-executed root canal surgery. Dr. Joshua Chubak is top-notch. Throughout the procedure, he explained what he was doing and the sounds, smells, and tastes I would experience. I can’t say that I would like to see him again (because we know what that means if I need to return), but if someone needs root canal surgery, I would highly recommend him because he is amazing.

After a long journey with dental work and a lot of disappointments and messed up work, I’m so glad that Tend referred me to this place. Location is great, It is clean, staff is welcoming and friendly, the endodontist explains things very well. And most importantly, I don’t feel pain when they are injecting the numbing stuff in my gums. (That’s what usually makes me anxious). I highly recommend this place for all your root canal needs :)
