I was a patient here for decades, with Dr. Kessler and then Dr. Shin. I recently had an appointment with the new practice, and I had an excellent experience. Dr. Khalife was pleasant and professional, and took the time to ask me some history about my problem tooth. Even though I'd been away from the practice for a couple years, "shopping" for a new dentist closer to where I live, I was made to feel welcome and cared for. The office renovations look great, the staff was friendly and efficient. Like under the previous management, there was no wait time for my appointment - a courtesy I always appreciate.

Gentle and professionalI had my dentist for so many years that I never wanted to go anywhere else. When he retired I had no choice. Dr Khalifa and her husband, also a dentist, took over the practice and I'm so glad they did. They are both gentle, caring professionals who do great work and don't try to re-do everything in your mouth but try to save your teeth. I highly recommend them.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. A complete lack of processional from beginning to end. They tried to take advantage of my insurance and bill me for as many additional services as possible. They did not submit the bills properly to my insurance, and asked for payment months later when they realized the error. I had a different dentist look at their work for a second option, and had to have it done over again.

Great end to end experience. I booked an appointment online only a day or two in advance of my first visit for a cleaning. The process was seamless and I was able to easily upload all information necessary which allowed me to be in the chair within a minute of arriving at the newly renovated office. The staff was very kind and professional and the doctor was patient in getting to know me, telling me about her practice, and answering all of my questions.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shin's for the past 5 years or so, and can only speak highly of him. Not only is he very knowledgeable about all aspects of the dental practice, he always patiently answers all of my questions with a great, lighthearted demeanor and amazing bedside manners. When I'm in his care, I feel that he truly cares about his patients and responds according to what's best for me. I always love going into his dental office because you can tell that everyone there is like family, and they make you feel like you are a part of it. I will keep on going to Dr. Shin for as long as he is practicing!

I have so much dentist anxiety and this is the first office where I felt totally comfortable at my first visit!! Everyone here is kind and has wonderful rapport with patients. Special shout out to Deena, Brittany, and Lily for being so patient and explaining my options to me regarding pricing and timing with insurance. It is so so very appreciated and not an experience I’ve ever had at a dentists office. Anyways I have a filling scheduled for Monday and for the first time I’m not worried about it or dreading it :)

I got into an electric scooter accident (knocked out two teeth), and Dr Khalife moved around her schedule so that she could get me in for an emergency same-day visit. I left their office all fixed up less than 5 hours after calling. Everybody at the office was very helpful, made me feel very welcome, and answered all my questions. They were also very transparent about pricing. I still have to go in for a second visit to get a permanent crown placed but so far am very happy with my experience here!

Had Invisalign done by them a few weeks ago, so far so good. Three of the buttons were chipping away so I called them this afternoon and they were able to see me this afternoon and repair them, the assistant noticed a 4th one was also chipped so they repaired that one too. It doesn't get much better than that. Everyone there is nice and courteous. Now if only my insurance covered the cost of these doggone Invisaligns!

I called Lux Smiles to see if they could squeeze my boss in within a few hours because his crown came loose. He only had a few hours as he was passing through town. They scheduled him within 2 hours, at a time I requested! They were very accommodating! I called them because of their great Google reviews! So hopefully you are reading this & make an appt! Thank you, Lux Smiles!

I have been a patient of this practice for seven or eight years now, but ever since my original dentist Dr Shin died, it has not been the same. I stayed with them because they were nice enough and the cleanings seemed thorough. But on my last two visits (Aug 2022, Feb 2023) I was told that they were no longer in-network with my insurance and that I would have to pay a $100 annual deductible. Both times when I said I was going to look for a new dentist (once in 2022 and again at the beginning of 2023) I was told that they would waive my deductible for that year because I was a "long-time patient". However when I went for a cleaning this month I noticed on the screen in the cleaning room (where all the names of that day's patients and corresponding notes on their accounts are displayed for all to see) it said "patient must pay $100 deductible" next to my name. When I went to check out I was told that they had indeed "waived" the deductible for the last two visits but that I had to pay this time. (Which, last time I checked, that's not what "waiving" means since waiving the deductible for the year means for the whole year. Otherwise it's just postponing the payment.) I said I would pay it but that they were going to lose me as a patient. With the dentist in earshot the receptionist said ok, and then honored my request to cancel the appointment I had just made for early 2024. I would have moved to a different practice at the beginning of this year with no ill will towards them if I thought I was going to have to pay the deductible. Now I've wasted $100 and am annoyed by their lack of professionalism and care for their patients.
