Mid-Manhattan Oral Surgery, PC

I had a good experience at this location with Dr Calat and team. My scenario was that oral surgery was required for a child, per primary dentist's recommendation. Dr Calat was good at explaining possible steps, what the best course of action could be, use of treatment options (e.g. nitrous oxide [laughing gas] versus anesthesia) during procedure, etc. Beyond convincing me that he was capable and comfortable to go ahead with the procedure, he showed understanding of the angst you might feel as the patient. I recommend him, and I'll return to him in future if the need arises.

Dr. Huberman was not only able to squeeze me in for a painless, emergency wisdom tooth consultation & extraction same day; but he was also kind enough to stay on hold for an HOUR with my pharmacy, after hours , to help assist me when there was a problem fulfilling my antibiotics prescription. Bedside manner from him & the team at MidManhattan’s 44th st practice was above & beyond. I could not recommend them highly enough. Huberman & all of the staff— thank you so much for all your assistance with my dental dilemma! You guys rock!

I love this place so much!!! Dr Calat and his staff are awesome. State of the art facility. I highly recommend this place. My son also went here for his wisdom teeth (4) extraction w/ sedation and it was painless and succesful. He is honest with my mom’s consultation and gave her an awesome advice for her dental implant. I had my teeth extracted yesterday and I am back to work today. If you want to experience a less fearful, no pain and successful dental experience going to the dentist, this is the place to go. I cant say enough for the service they have given my family 🤗❤️

My 7 year old Daughter needed to have an extraction. She was very nervous but Dr Calat, his staff and the very sweet anesthesiologists were so patient with her and with me. They were so professional and the procedure was over so quickly that I was surprised at how efficient they were. Dr Calat is such a gentle and thoughtful dentist and I would recommend him and his practice to anyone looking for a great oral surgeon.

Great practice. All staff is very helpful, and Dr. Calat is very thorough in making sure procedure goes well and that you understand every step of what’s going to happen. I’ve had two procedures done here several years apart from each other, and the second time I needed one I immediately went for this practice because my first experience was so seamless. Both times everything was explained patiently to me and I had minimal pain and no complications.

My experience at Mid-Manhattan Oral Surgery was amazing. Dr. Calat was friendly and professional, making me feel cared for and confident in him and his team's expertise. During my consultation, he showed genuine interest in my concerns, and took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment options available to me. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Calat was able to accommodate a same day procedure. Throughout the procedure, he remained attentive to my comfort and well-being, talked me through what he was doing and periodically checked in. I cannot recommend Dr. Calat and his team enough. His expertise, clear communication, and genuine concern for patients' well-being set him apart from others in his field.

I can't say enough good things about Mid-Manhattan Oral Surgery! Booking an appointment was simple even last-minute, as I had an urgent need for extraction. Dr. Calat and team were warm, friendly, and professional throughout the consultation and procedure. They even followed up personally the next day, to check in on my progress. I really appreciated how Dr. Calat walked me through the process, without rushing, and providing personal care. This type of warm bedside manner is increasingly hard-to-find in my experience. I will definitely be referring their services to freinds, family, and colleagues!

Went in to get my wisdom teeth removed, and was immediately greeted by an enthusiastic staff. After getting pictures taken of my teeth, Dr. Calat pulled them up on his computer and explained in detail what the pictures mean and what the removal will entail. He was very reassuring during the procedure in telling me what was happening and it was all done within 30 minutes. Post-op, Dr. Calat gave me the full run down of what to expect in the following days along with the do’s and don’ts relating to oral care with the stitches in my mouth. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I felt like I was in good hands the whole way through.

Was able to book a consultation the day before, and at the end of the consultation decided to have my biopsy performed right then and there, which the staff and Dr. Calat were able to accommodate! Dr. Calat and his team were thorough with reviewing and explaining my issue and diagnosis, not to mention friendly and caring. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Dr. Calat and his team did an amazing job with my final wisdom tooth extraction. At my old clinic I had a bad experience with the extraction of two of my wisdom teeth, and Dr. Calat showed me how it’s supposed to be done. The whole experience was pleasant and after-care instructions were clear. The office is also helpful with sorting matters with insurance.
