I have a beautiful and healthy mouth and teeth because they stay on top of it -and do things before they become emergencies. Dr Roth is an artist and makes perfect teeth and you look perfect when he's finished. he doesn't have any agenda other than making your mouth heathy and beautiful with as little pain as possible!!

Twice a year I travel 160 miles round trip to see Dr. Tim Chase, my dentist of 20 years. This is a testament to the high regard in which I hold him and his staff. Dr. Chase, assisted by Carol, is a consummate professional who treats his patients with care and compassion. His office manager, Lorita, attends to administrative issues cheerfully and with a smile. Maria, the dental hygienist, does amazing work with minimal distress. The waiting room is comfortable and well equipped with WiFi and TV, but there is rarely a wait. It is rare to find a dental practice of this caliber. It is well worth the trip.

Never thought I’d be the kind of person to write a review for a doctor office, but here we are. The professionalism, friendliness, empathy, and especially the competence have made a dentist visit something I can face with optimism. Fast, effective, and as easy as can be hoped for. All the skills and tools in one office. Everyone is friendly, which in some weird way ends up being the best part. Think of it as a Tooth Spa 😁

DISGRACE. I went to this office and was told I needed all my teeth removed and have veneers for 60k with Roth. My son insisted I got a second opinion. I was told my back teeth were ready to crack and root canals if I did not get veneers and these ' bad' teeth removed. I got 4 opinions. All said absolutely not and in fact my teeth were in great condition! Their office would not stop calling and offering 20% off if I paid cash. BEWARE. GET A SECOND OPINION.

Dr. Roth and his dentistry practice are an absolute disgrace and should be investigated by the authorities. He encouraged me to have my entire mouth replaced with fillings. I almost continued with this procedure but decided to consult various other dentists after who informed me I did not need these fillings and that they had received similar complaints from his practice about performing unnecessary work. Be very careful if interacting with his office and getting second opinions was one of the best decisions of my life.

NEW ENTRY 1/26/24i am a longggg time patient here for a reason. I have never and never will love the dentist, but it is an important part of staying healthy. Like any medical experience to me, expertise in their specialty and bedside manner are key. Dr.Roth is an outstanding provider for such expectations. So, to me especially if you need to take care of issues that may not be joyous occasions, at least to me, trust and comfort have to be present. ROTH made himself so available and giving me comfort until I could see him on Monday...during his very packed schedule.Didn't love hearing I have a bit of an infection but I am trusting the protocol he started me on will heal me. And the whole office as usual efficient and supportive. I left a message on vmail over weekend to get an appointment for Monday (that was Saturday call) as well as texting Dr. Roth..and hearing from him quickly....and by 8am Monday I had a return call from the office to see where they could fit me in........Health practitioners that really care as well as are outstanding in their expertise, service and bedside manner are rare......I am very grateful once again...Health is our greatest wealth!--------------------i have been going to this dental practice for some time. And if you at all believe that consistency over time has anything to do with creating a brand and an experience, you should consider this for any and all of your dental needs. For creating an experience that is warm, informative and honest I think deserves special attention particular in any kind of health arena. "Bedside manner' is exemplary as is every aspect of the office beginning with the front desk. I have experienced several drs. here, and will say they all share a similar kind of personality and approach to what dental care is and should be. Dr. Roth is my primary here and any specialists they refer you to or who attend the practice for special needs all exhibit this same kind of human aspect and above all outstanding knowledge and experience. I will assume all the hygenists are of the same standard but I can only speak for one I regularly go to, Janice. I can't imagine someone being so passionate about that kind of work, c'mon think about it....ha! But she is and her thoroughness is hard to match, and then there is just who she is as a person. Plus, if you can imagine a dentist office actually have an energy of fun, in engaging with the staff...you don't have to imagine anymore....Health is worth the investment and I think if you have to go, what helps you get there is knowing you are in not only caring hands but truly human ones....that are however highly technical when it comes to the most current insights on dental issues. I schlep there, you should to!And because I went again yesterday, and again, there was this CONSISTENT CARING...THOROUGH....KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FUN EXPERIENCE...trust me, I USED TO HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST...but you just know you are in great super informed caring /hands here with even a sense of humor and human.............best "bedside" manner! do what they advise you and you will be healthy and actually SMILE, for real...lol!

What an amazing experience at this office! All of the staff is extremely friendly and professional… which is a huge understatement. I am so looking forward to the experience of having SmilesNY repair & reconstruct my unfortunate dental situation. I feel like i am in the very best hands here in Manhattan. I'm a new patient, and I cannot say enough good things about Smiles NY. My hygienist performed a thorough cleaning, but at the same time - was gentle and caused no pain at all. Dr. Roth is an amazing dentist who was recommended by a friend. He has created an overall plan for my future dental health in order to correct some previous problems related to wear and tear (and in one instance - bad dentistry by a former dentist). The entire staff there is friendly and helpful! I highly HIGHLY recommend!

Addition to my previous review 2 years ago:My Personal Investment of Veneers.Dr. Steven Roth and the entire team at Smiles NY are the ultimate experience for dental care!I have been a patient of Dr. Roth’s for 25+ years and trust him with any professional advice. That said, he gently and clearly explained to me why I should consider veneers for my teeth.I have dealt with TMJ for years and of course as we age our bite and teeth shift . After completing one implant for a cracked tooth and discovered I had other teeth with hairline fractures , I decided to make the personal investment of saving them from more damage and add a total of 15 veneers to my top and bottom teeth.It is the BEST decision I made as I had 100% trust that I was in expert hands and my new veneers are absolutely gorgeous !!He and Darlene, his Dental Assistant explained to me every step of the process with the highest level of expertise, professionalism , kindness and empathy. I can not give enough wonderful, amazing compliments to him as well as his outstanding team in the office. I always call him the "Picasso" of teeth as he is a perfectionist with making sure you have 100% excellent care, including follow-up phone calls, consultations and office visits. His office team and Dr. Timothy Chase consistently share his same work ethic. Each visit is so professional with everyone making you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, soothing music, immaculately clean office and most important for me is that everyone has a smile and a fabulous sense of humor!Even completing my visit with Lorita at the end of my appointment is always so organized.
