From the very beginning, Dr. Lisa Chen was absolutely amazing—so kind, patient, and encouraging. When I needed dental work, she explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease. The entire staff is warm, professional, and always full of helpful tips. It’s been years now, and I genuinely enjoy my checkups. I always feel well cared for and supported here.

Dr Kim is excellent. I had to have an emergency root canal and I found him on a Saturday via zoc docs. His office is clean, bright, with state of the art equipment. The office staff took my insurance and told me upfront how much I would have to pay out of pocket which was a reasonable amount and they kept to their quote and they didnt try to change prices or make any add ons. Dr Kim worked on my mouth and was a true professional. As Dr Kim worked on me, I actually fell asleep a few times during the root canal and started snoring ! This never happened to me during prior root canals. Dr Kim is highly skilled and pleasant. Dr Kim answered my questions and gave clear post-surgical instructions. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Liss is the best dentist that I could hope to find. She is excellent. She is knowledgeable, professional, extremely gifted and extremely intelligent. She is humanly wonderful as well. The whole office welcomes you and makes you feel taken care of. Great experience!

Been going here for 3 years. Entire staff professional, friendly, knowledgeable, great communication with dentists and hygienists who are gentle, efficient and attentive. I saw Dr. Jatar and had routine cleaning today. Wait time of 4 minutes and noticeably better looking teeth and gums when done. Never had a bad experience at this dentist office - and I’ve been too a few- it feels good to find the right one

I have been going to Upper East Smiles for about five years now for routine exams and cleaning and always had pleasant experience. Appointments always run on time (no lengthy wait time in the waiting room) and at the same time you don't feel rushed during your appointments. A few years ago I had a bad infection after neglecting dental checkup during Covid, and the endodontist, Dr. Kim, did an amazing job with a root canal, with minimal pain and no complications to recovery. Every dentist and assistant I saw has been kind and friendly, and I appreciate that they take time and care when performing examinations/listening to any concerns and offer detailed explanations (which I find rare in NYC).
