The staff was SO helpful. They texted, emailed and called depending on my availability and were always willing to answer questions pre-op. I was provided with step by step pre & post op care paperwork to support all my needs!We arrived day of extraction to a smiling office staff who spent a ton of time answering all of our questions and even got a call and text day after surgery to check in!Dr. Hassan is so skilled, talented and knowledgeable. All 4 of my wisdom teeth were removed within an hour and my recovery has been amazing. Hardly any pain or swelling and I attribute that to the doctor's skilled work!I highly recommend for any oral surgery needs you visit Dr. Hassan at Family orthodontics and oral surgery!

When I came in to the Family Orthodontics & Oral Surgery office, I was greeted and treated well by both receptionists. I was instructed in Spanish the procedure I had to follow so I wouldn't get an infection. After I was called in to the surgery room, the nurse was nice and also treated me with care. It wasn't a long wait and the surgeon went over which teeth she was taking out. After she was finished, I was helped by the nurse to the waiting room. It was a great process.

Family Ortho went above and beyond my expectations. I am completely satisfied with my results and I am so happy I went with Dr. Azzeh. I can 100% say that I smile with confidence now. The customer service is top tier and from the 28 months I was a patient, I never had a bad experience with any of the staff. Everyone here is so friendly! Thank you so much.

This is an update: It’s been 5 months and still no settlement from Dr Azzeh, It will cost $5000-$6000 or more plus another year of treatment elsewhere. Dr Azzeh can dismiss you from his care whether he’s unhappy with your results, or you are. It will be hard and costly to find another Orthodontist to take over. It will be/has been difficult to get money back from Dr Azzeh though the quality of trays I was provided were damaging to my mouth and most often had to be remade from the get go (see photos below). Trays we’re melted, sharp, I’ll fitting. That slowed progress.Update: This man does harm. He continues to make people miserable and his treatment is sub standard. Add up all the reviews you see online and multiply by $5000 for each patient writing the review. Millions and millions of dollars and a business plan designed to get people through with little expense or get rid of them with no liability. A lawyer when his kids treatment goes wrong, needs to take this Dr. on.

Update:Not only they did not refund us but they forced us to sign a waiver & remove our negative review. Our patience has a limit. We would go through the hassle but do the right thing as other patients should know how you actually treat your patients. You are forcing to remove bad reviews. To this date our simple request to drop the retainers at their office & instead be fully refunded for their poorly designed retainers has not been granted! we paid 370$ out of pocket.""We had an appointment to pick up our child's second retainer. As soon as she tried the retainer, it was VERY clear that it has not been designed correctly. It was way too snug. My child cried trying to take it out. Dr. Dean came. He gave assurance that the fit would get better after trimming it short and kept pushing our child to use it (despite her discomfort). He did not offer to change it and instead gaslighted to make us believe that we don't know what a retainer should feel like. Well, we left accepting his words and believing that this would work. It did not.Our child tried it and woke up in the middle of the night crying. Her gum was bleeding (see picture). It took 15 mins and 2 grownups to take the tight retainer out as gum was swollen and retainer was not coming off. Our child was left with cuts in her gum, and we got lucky it did not get infected as we took preventative care. Please note that this was the second retainer that failed. The temporary one (before our child pulls her teeth out) also caused irritation as it had sharp edges.I sent an email on June 24th asking them to reimburse us so that we can go somewhere else to order the retainer for our child! Instead, they wanted us back to try a different type of retainer.The trust is gone, and we have no further time to waste ( 2 failed retainers and gum injuries are not enough ???). The fact that it was Dr. Dean involved himself and it was not just a staff error, made it clear that he might advertise himself as a cool Harvard graduate but in reality, he does not acknowledge his office's mistake, does not respect the facts that we as parents could see in bright day, and just gaslights and wastes parents/patient's time, and puts them at risk of gum injuries.If they can't get a simple retainer right, how can one trust their child's treatment with them (?)

My son got all 4 wisdom teeth extracted under sedation and the surgery took about 30 minutes. Got in and out including all the paperwork all in 1 hour. We decided to go with this office instead of another office referred by our dentist because the other office in Irvine did not want to give us the exact price for the surgery plus they wanted a “consultation fee”. We were referred, why need more consultation???After calling many offices throughout Orange County, this place was the only place who was up front about the cost and scheduled the surgery immediately with panoramic x ray included. We also liked their policy to do extraction surgeries on Fridays to have time to recover over the weekend. My son is doing really well with no pain or discomfort from day 1. It’s day 2 and nearly back to normal. Just can’t wait to be able to eat rice again (no small foods until fully healed).

Very good experience. Dental assistants are patient and very attentive in the process. Special thanks to Eileen for taking the time to take care of my teeth. And to Dr. Dean Azzeh, I can’t express how appreciative I am for his expertise, patience, and attention to detail. He is certainly a leading professional in the field of orthodontics!
