I've been going here for years. My last visit was definitely my least favorite. I had been telling the staff I was getting braces the same day elsewhere.I had to wait to be seen awhile. Once I was in the chair, I waited for services much longer than the treatment even took.I even had to push back my orthodontist appointment. Once I saw the orthodontist, he couldn't but the braces on because fluoride was placed on my teeth. I told the staff about me getting braces the same day and fluoride on my teeth meant brackets weren't going to bond. Had to go back to orthodontist the next day.Needless to say, I wasn't happy with serviced rendered. My experiences here are typically positive, but not this time.

I came to Oakland Smile because I had lost a 40 year old crown, and had dental insurance they accepted. I found the staff to be very professional, their technology to be state of the art, and their diagnosis to be exactly what I expected. My only issue is the options offered for the crown repair. They are either a root canal, and subsequent crown replacement, or an implant. Obviously, the implant is the best long term solution, but neither of these take into account my age (78), nor my finances. The better solution, I would think, would be to include a bridge ( as I will ultimately need to replace all four front upper teeth), or a partial denture. Overall, I'm pleased with the service I received, but would have been happier with more comprehensive options.

I enjoy going to the dentist because Dr. Amiri has a plesant personaltiy, he not only talks to you regarding your dental health, he will also ask about family or any interesting trips you have coming up. Not to mention they have the best dental hygienist. She is thorough, patient and cleaning is painless. She is very down to earth and courteous. Takes her time and really leaves your teeth feeling clean and gums well irrigated I have referred a few friends and they love her as well. Been going here over 5 years now

Very good facility, friendly staff, very courteous, patient and understanding!The Dr Ruchi was great with explaining services; what was needed why it was needed and when it was needed. I been Dr. Amiris patient for the last 3 years and I’m so happy with all my treatment. I also enjoy talking to all the staff everyone is so friendly. I feel extra comfortable because I know they are profesional, unlike other offices were trying to charge me for treatment that was not needed. I recommend this office to all my family and friends.

So happy I chose Dr. Amiri’s office. During my first appointment, he took his time to learn my dental history and I could tell that he truly cares about his patients. The office is clean and staff are friendly. I was the last patient and noticed that everyone stayed longer because I arrived late. This is an office I trust and will become a regular. Thank you!

I met Dr. Amiri yesterday! I don't normally post reviews, but this one feels necessary. Since moving to California, all my dentists have been located with those big box, chain offices. The professionals at those offices were lovely. And, getting an appointment and keeping an appointment always seemed to be a struggle. Plus, once I got to the appointment, I was surprised when I was told I needed to schedule another, separate appointment for a cleaning. I assumed this was just par for the course in the Bay.Well, earlier this week, I was looking for a new dentist and used Google to find Oakland Smile Dental. I called to make an appointment, and they got me in same-week (amazing). The staff person I spoke with took time to give me an estimate, too. I went to my appointment and learned that in addition to a routine cleaning, I would need two minor fillings. No numbing needed. Dr. Amiri shocked me when he said, "We can do it all right now." His staff was so kind and professional. Fatimah explained everything to me as she was doing it, and the technology she used to get xrays and images of my mouth was pretty neat. Dr. Amiri was fast and personable. The procedure was painless. I am thrilled and relieved to have found Oakland Smile Dental. I have another appointment in 6 months!

Wish I had read the reviews first they just told me 13,761 for upper dentures and wouldn't fix a broke tooth because my account had $145 and pulling a tooth is $166 they do not work with you at all they are only about money money money Karma is real and this is not good practice it will come back full circle you will not prosper bad bad business don't go here...ugh bad bad and I only gave a 2 star cuz the office is kinda clean...

Dr.Amiri and staff are awesome, they make you feel comfortable and welcomed, I was looking for a dentist for the longes for me and my family and got a good recommendation from a friend and family member. Still doubting I schedule the appointments and I was not disappointed, my kids were happy and it is very convenient for me because they are open on Saturdays. Very pleased with the service. Would highly recommend to come here.
