Ontario Kids 'N Braces

My daughter has autism and always has a really difficult time at the dentist. We’ve always had to have her put under anesthesia even for a check up. We came here and they all were amazing. She was able to have an examination done without having to be put under. The dentist was great and even showed us a technique to brush better for her. She left the office with a smile on her face which has never happened before. Will definitely be bringing her back.

My daughter needed extensive work done and the previous doctor treated her like a number or paycheck. We were referred here by someone we trust and it’s been a great experience. It’s scary to have to put a four year old under but especially when she has thyroid issues. But every one was comforting to me and her during the whole process and actually cared about her well being. The staff and doctor is super kind and helpful and I am truly grateful I found them.

I was just there on a consultation for braces. The first thing I did was to check and see how clean it was. The place was very clean.I liked the fact that the doctor took the time to actually check my daughter's teeth and did not base her decision on the x-rays. Her approach on to straighten my daughter's teeth was much better than in another place. Now let's see how it all comes out. 😀

I’m so confused and disappointed. I came here only needing my bottom teeth permanent retainer re-bonded, and ended up staying for three hours and leaving with a traumatic experience as a free bonus. Something that should have taken 30 minutes at the absolute max was grossly prolonged with negligence and lack of care. I kept finding myself double guessing why I was feeling the way I was about my treatment, and it was because everyone there was really nice and the facility seemed extremely professional, but there actual dental service was beyond the worst. I’m not sure why they had to take pictures of me (told me explicitly NOT show my teeth…?) and when I asked what it was for numerous time, she only replied “for records!!” And got annoyed. It was weird. I was also asked to pay for my entire service before getting any work done whatsoever. It felt odd, I had never been asked to pay full price before receiving a service. Maybe it was because they knew I wasn’t insured and I was paying out of pocket. I don’t know, but I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time, with tears coming down my face. At one point during the process, while I was waiting for an hour and half in the chair before I saw anyone again after initial consultation, the cotton cylinders became so soggy from sitting there for a while, it starting lodging to the back of my throat. I had to tell them it had fallen back there because they didn’t seem to notice I could barely breathe. Assistant also forced the floss down so hard my gum got sliced bad. Dr. was nice but assistant should NOT be employed there. Good luck with this place and don’t let the kindness and professional looking environment fool you for the quality of service.

You can’t go wrong at this office. I am 110% satisfied with the work of orthodontist, Doctor Khullar. In just the six months, my teeth were corrected using Invisalign treatment. The office personal we’re courteous, informative and professional. They reflect the excellence of Dr. Khullar, who is very meticulous in here work. Bring your kids and adult family members here for great orthodontic work. You won’t regret and will be smiling with confidence and joy! Thanks Dr. Khullar and staff! You guys are the best!!

I know my son can be difficult due to his condition but I wish they were more straight up about not wanting to see us as patients. Professionally, a reason for a "divorce" or a simple explanation would be more understanding. It's obvious my child needs extreme dental work, so rather than being straight forward about not wanting to see us, they've scheduled ANOTHER appointment 6mos ahead.Previously, at my son's first appointment, he was not compliant due to everything being new to him. Instead of being straight forward, they scheduled us 6mos in advance. It would have been understanding to let us know they didn't want to see him anymore. Why give us a future appointment & notification if work was not going to be done on him KNOWING he needs it. Rather than preventive care, they're telling us to come back if he feels pain. He had pain previously & has a high pain tolerance. Health care is usually about preventive care & things should be taken cared of before things get worse. I thought they were accomodating today for scheduling us in but really it was more for pity. Please, just be straight forward of who you prefer your clientel to be, instead of wasting each other's time.I don't want to use my medical experience in the field as a bias opinion but it would be more professional to be honest with patients. Reading reviews, I thought they'd be a great option but I guess they don't have the patience or knowledge to deal with certain children that need more support.

My experience with Kids n Braces was wonderful and I highly recommend them! Dr. Khullar is an excellent orthodontist who not only knows how to straighten teeth, but also knows how to communicate and empathize with her patients. It's not always easy to find BOTH of those traits in medical professionals! The staff also seem well trained, personable and professional. Check them out, you won't regret it!

I had a great experience coming to this office , they are very professional and the Dr. Is always welcoming and sweet ! I can feel how excited and ready to work she is ! Her staff is also very friendly the back office made my son feel comfortable and the front office always worked around my schedule ! I am so thankful for the service and loved the way his teeth turned out ! Thank you Dr. Khullar for a great experience !

I love this place. I had a horrible experience at Western dental. I’m big on customers service and this dental office had always been great. All the employees are polite and professional including the orthodontist. You’ll be seen at your scheduled appointment time unlike other places where they double book and you have to wait an hour or longer even when you have an appointment. The orthodontist is amazing very friendly and professional. So happy with my braces and treatment they are coming allow great! I would definitely recommend anyone to go here.

My insurance didn’t cover for My 16 year old To get braces. So I went shopping around to get the best price because I'm paying out of pocket. I tried 3 other locations including this one and this place was the best priced by $1500 difference. In terms of costumer service and cleanliness this place again is the best. Highly recommend.
