This is the second time I’ve been to Dr. Stout. He’s not just an amazing oral surgeon he’s a good human being. He called me over the weekend as the result of an emergency situation and got me immediately into his office the next day. His staff is top notch, very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I have never recommended a doctor more highly than Dr. Stout.

Today I faced my biggest fear. From Childhood to present day the thought of going to the dentist would be an impossible act. I won't get into why, but let's just say my experience was a torture chamber. This week I had a tooth ache, I thought some magic act would make it go away. But it didn't and the pain and panic was over the top. I broke down and crying I told my sister-in-law what was happening. She called her friend who was a patient of Anacapa Oral Surgery. Shaking and trying not to look like a baby she made an appointment for me to see him in a hour. Upon going into the office I was greeted by a very nice lady behind the desk .She said, hi are you Jennifer . From that point on, every single staff member in the office were so kind and compassionate that I started to stop holding my breath. Now it was time to meet with the dentist, Dr. Stout D.D.S.We gathered in an examination room. With the X-ray on the wall, OMG here it comes...we discussed the problems, I realized I wasn't shaking as bad. Dr. Stout is a very nice man, pleasant to speak with and compassionate. He didn't make me feel stupid and he described what he felt the procedure should be in a manner that anyone would understand.I agreed and off we went to have some badly infected teeth removed. During the whole process from start to finish his staff treated me with compassion and dignity. I need follow up dental needs, and Dr. Stout recommended a dentist, and you better believe I'm going to see her. So in closing on March 22, 2024 I faced my craziest fear with the help of Dr..Stout and his wonderful staff. Thank you😃

After Dr. Stout and staff took such gentle and amazing care of our oldest daughter 2 years ago, we took our overly nervous youngest daughter back to them. They didn’t disappoint….they hit back to back home runs!! :) Thank you so much Dr Stout, Consuelo, Riley and staff, for treating us like family not once but twice! For the prospective patient…you’ll be in THE BEST hands!

This practice rates more than five stars! Who knew that Oral Surgery could be so pleasant? Dr. Stout is phenomenal, and his staff is second to none. (Anyone want to buy my pain medication? I never had to use it.) And their expert care and follow-up post surgery has been extremely attentive and helpful. Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Stout. Shout out to Julie, Sydney, and Myra as well. Thank you everyone for a truly great experience.

Dr. Stout and his staff are AMAZING!!! They made me comfortable and fixed my issue with barely any pain. Recovery was great!! I will be doing more work with their office FOR SURE!! ALL the STAFF are so PHENOMENAL at their jobs! Absolutely wonderful experience. Julie, by far, is the star of the show. The front desk was great, nice and friendly and helped me with the paperwork part of the visit. I then was introduced to Julie, and this girl is the absolute best! She walked me thru everything and answered all of my questions. Talk about a true professional. This girl thought of everything thru out the visit. She basically held my hand thru having oral surgery. Warm blankets, questions answered and everything you need to go in your goodie bag. I’ve seen many dentists/endo providers and this office was by far the absolute best. Fill your prescriptions with them and avoid pharmacy chaos. They cover it all. I’ve been home maybe 2 hours and Julie has already called to check up on me. Dr Stout is a great doc, placed my IV like a pro! I felt zero pain, woke up easily and had no problems. They send you home with gauze, syringes, a cold pack and meds. Not a thing was missed and I give this office an A+. And Julie gets an A++

My goodness I absolutely love Julie the way she sat down and spoke to my daughter (the patient ) and also to us to explain everything in a manner we understood. She spoke in a caring kind voice her customer service or bed side manner off the charts. Absolutely heart warming to have someone so caring and thoughtful take the time to explain step by step what to expect, what we are looking at on the x rays she was absolutely Amazing! And Dr Stout is just an added bonus the best of the best. This will be the last of five of us getting our wisdom teeth extracted prayers for good surgery tomorrow .

I got a text asking me to write a review. That was a mistake!I specifically said (to the staff when calling to schedule appointment) I need pain medication for the pain I’m experiencing. Can he prescribe it? I was told I will need to be seen because it’s been over a month since my last visit. I come in for my appointment and Stout says to me, he’s unable to prescribe pain meds unless he’s performed a procedure and the DEA would be all over him if he was to prescribe it before any procedure is done and the only way to get pain meds is to go to the ER! What a joke. I said well the staff should be more transparent about what is “allowed” because if I had known it wasn’t even a possibility I would not have come in. Stout then proceeded to say if I had said when calling that i wouldn’t come in if he won’t prescribe the meds then I would have been given a different answer! That blows my mind he pushed it back on me. I was very clear about my needs. Absolutely no accountability for their poor communication. So, he’s basically saying it’s my fault that I was mislead.I do not appreciate being talked down to. I do not appreciate being treated like I’m some druggy. I express my frustration about this whole situation politely mind you, and he puts out his hand to shake mine. Dismissive much? Yea. Thanks for nothing Dr. Pompous Stout. I will not get any procedures done by you. Enjoy this review.

The care is organized, professional and very friendly. You might think that last one the least important, but as it imparts a sense of welcome and peace of mind, it too is important. Aside from the staff, Dr. Stout is a consummate craftsman, deft and skillful, making these invasive procedures as bearable as they can be, and the aftercare routine, at least for me. Such a relief!
