My experience with AVA orthodontist was nothing short of amazing! The technology was state of the art. They were very accommodating and took every route to try to get me to my results. I was really scare to come and get my braces done due to a very bad traumatic experience, but I didn’t feel a thing. I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Hamed Vaziri as my daughter's orthodontist. His friendly demeanor and expertise made the entire orthodontic journey pleasant and effective. The staff at his practice is incredibly sweet and accommodating. They made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. My daughter's results are outstanding, and we couldn't be happier. Dr. Vaziri and his team are truly exceptional!

I brought my son to the Ava Pearland location for a consultation and was overall pleased with the service. A few months later I scheduled an appointment to have his braces put on. My son is covered by both me and my husband. According to health insurance law they are to follow the birthday rule, which dictates that my insurance, a DHMO, is primary and my husband's insurance, a PPO, as secondary. However, they informed me their rule is to take PPO first and refused to take the necessary steps to confirm the rule and processes needed for DHMO and accept my primary physicians referral for authorization with the DHMO. In addition, I was given a base rate of 5k with one insurance and 7k with the other. Although my son was really hoping to get his braces on that day and this location is the closest location to my son's school that's on the plan, which decreases the time away from class for appointments, I walked away. If they would have been willing to file the claims correctly, this would have decrease my estimated out of pocket cost. The dentist appeared nice no problem there. I was even considering changing my primary to keep from traveling to the med center, but the benefits office was unwilling to go any further to find the best option for me as the customer. I am an auditor and I specialize in healthcare, so not following the rules or benefit guidelines for the payors and not taking the time to figure out the best options for patients, is definitely unacceptable for me.

DR. VAZIRI AND HIS TEAM ARE AMAZING. 29 YEARS OLD AND MY 3RD TIME WITH BRACES. I WAS TURNED DOWN BY SERVERAL ORTHODONTIST, WHO TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT HELP ME CLOSE MY GAP. DR. VAZIRI GLADY TOOK ME ON AS A PATIENT AND IN UNDER 2 YEARS, MY GAP IS CLOSE AND MY TEETH ARE STRAIGHTER THAN EVER BEFORE. HIS STAFF HAS ALWAYS BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE.

I came to Ava for a second opinion and better understanding of the treatment that would be needed for straightening my teeth. The staff were very sweet. And the doctor took his time explaining everything to me and answering all my questions thoroughly. Leaving Ava I felt more confident about going forward with their treatment plan knowing my end results will be what I'm looking for.
