Jackson Heights Orthodontics

I wanted to like this place, I was with them for over 2 years. Got my braces done and once we “finished” the treatment I knew something was wrong. My bite wasn’t completely fixed and my front tooth were still not in the right place, I voiced my concern and they told me I should wait a couple of months so my bite alone would adjust (obviously didn’t happen). After 6 months I went back and told them I needed the braces again since my teeth continued to get more and more out of place. They told me I needed 3-6 more months of treatment and they would charge me $3,000 dollars for it ! That’s more than half the price of the whole treatment ! Not keeping in mind I voiced my concern as soon as the braces were off! Now I need a solution and it is mind blowing I’m stuck on paying $3,000 to complete my treatment. I need a solution please

Well, to begin with you see a lot of 5 stars because they offer you a gift card to starbucks after leaving a review or any small gift in general.2nd. if you are paying out-of-pocket, you might as well go somewhere else because after I got my braces off and did a cleaning, my dentist told me that my teeth is 92% done and not 100% and if I’m paying out of pocket i’m expecting 100% because it may look good from the front but everywhere else from a professional opinion, its not what i paid for. Same thing for if it was covered but out of pocket feels just as bad.3rd they are not really the best at accompanying you when you voice a concern about your teeth they make it seem like you’re being crazy and that it’s in your head. But then you come back a few months later to voice your concern again about the same teeth and that it needs to be fixed because they didn’t listen to you the first time. Then they have you pay again for what you voiced for to start another round of treatment even though you came to them telling them “if you do this my teeth are not going to be in the position they should be in” Why do I have to pay MORE money if I told you about this problem that’s going to occur earlier before. i’m not going to go into details but you should get the point.Overall this place isn’t bad, keep in mind the positive reviews are because of the gifts they give you for it or a gift card. But this is just my experience

I had a fantastic experience at my orthodontist's office. The entire team is incredibly friendly, and the doctors are not only skilled but also genuinely caring. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making each visit a positive and comfortable experience. I highly recommend this orthodontist place for their expertise, friendliness, and overall exceptional service.

I regret bringing my son for his treatment, they take money from you and if you don't realize it, you end up paying more than what you are and when you ask them what they are charging you for, no one knows, they just tell you that they will call you back when they have the information. but they never call you, I don't recommend it at all because your account never goes down and you keep paying and the account stays the same, terrible administration

Wonderful Experience!I recently visited Jackson Heights Orthodontist and I couldn't be happier. The staff is incredibly nice and treats patients with great care. The clinic is neat and well-organized, which adds to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend them!

I love coming here, the receptionists are always so nice and whenever you’re running late you can call ahead and let them no with no problem, if you come early it’s no problem you can still go down. Booking or changing appointments is easy and usually the process itself it’s quick unless it’s a busy day. The doctor and assistants are also always so nice, I recommend all the time to friends :)

I recently had a wonderful experience at Jackson Heights Orthodontics. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel comfortable right from the moment I walked in. The orthodontist was highly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of my treatment plan, ensuring I felt informed and involved throughout. I'm thrilled with the results of my braces and would highly recommend Jackson Heights Orthodontics for their exceptional service and expertise.

I went to this office with hopes of getting retainers for my teeth (such as Invisalign.) So they took X-rays of my teeth, charged me a $250 deposit and said my retainers would have been ready in about 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks passed on no signs on retainers. I call the Office and they tell me they lose my films and that my retainers were never ordered. Here we’re almost 4 months later and no one from the office has dare to either give me an explanation or return my deposit. The manager is never available nor returned any of my multiple phone calls and messages left with Staff. The office has a good Doctor but very bad management. I would not recommend whatsoever.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the best and most effective dental treatment. Staff is very genuine and caring. Dr. Adam Shaft is very detailed oriented and will give his best. He is not your typical orthodontist who is too busy to spend time on his patients. Last but not the least, a big shoutout to Ilonka. Staff like her have made this place so warm and welcoming.I am glad I chose this place both monetarily and experience wise.
