I am from Oregon and was in West Hartford visiting my cousin recently and needed to have a root canal done. My cousin recommended West Hill Family Dental. Dr. Preston is a star dentist and squeezed me in to perform the root canal and crown prep. For the first time in my life (I am 57) I did not feel the shot(s) AT ALL. I am dentally challenged due to multiple bad experiences as a child and Dr. Preston and her spectacular crew were very understanding and helpful. I returned when the crown was ready and Dr. Preston again squeezed me in to get the procedure completed. I decided to get a partial made while I was there which Dr. Preston and crew were able to complete in record time. I think Dr. Preston may have even come in on a day off to fit the partial. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Preston and West Hill Family Dental. I will be forever grateful for their skill, kindness and speed in attending to my unplanned dental needs. For the first time in more than nine years I feel I can smile again! I am so happy! Thank you very much!

It was very good. I did have a couple of questions regarding the patches on my gums. Hoping this is not something to be concerned about. I am rinsing with salt water so hopefully will resolve in a week or so.

They’re always prompt & informative prior to any work. Also they offer a reasonable price bate dental plan.

This was my first visit to the practice, as my dentist retired after more the 40 yrs. Was referred by my niece Elizabeth who is one of the hygienist. She was extremely through and listened to all my concerns. Met the Dr. he was very professional and forthright with his assessment. I appreciate honesty and professionalism. Very happy with tge new experience.

I just wanted to reach out to West Hill and thank Dr. Preston and her team for such an amazing dental experience today. Kim and Monica were very good at explaining to me my insurance benefits. Letting me know what I had left in benefit and what my copay was going to be before I left the office. It wasn’t one of those corporate feeling places, all sterile and what not. I happened to be traveling out of town to meet up with some friends in CT and lost my temporary crown my dentist placed on my tooth last week. It was super sensitive and I called to talk with anyone that would be willing to help me. Kim and I think her name was Monica came through and hooked me up with a quick meeting with Dr. Hemphill and he was able to craft a beautiful temporary that has since stayed on through the rest of the weekend. Thank you all for your help! The doc was great, Kim was amazing for helping to get me in last Thursday and I was able to enjoy the rest of my week in Connecticut.
