I believe this was my first time here with my mini me. If not, nothing about those other appointments stood out. However, today something happened with one of the children that caused me to start paying attenetion to what was going on. The area where they treat the the children is a small open area. I was sitting there watching Dr. Church work will all of children and he was amazing. He was very patient and caring. He did a wonderful job explaining what was happening to both the children and the parents. It is almost upsetting to only be able to give him a mere 5 starts!

I wanted to share my experience with this office for anyone considering them for their care. I was referred to them by our primary dental office and went in multiple times for consultation. We waited a few months for my son's jaw to grow bigger prior to putting on the braces - we received an estimate, and picked a payment plan. Finally I called and requested an appointment to put them on and went in expecting to have my son walk out with braces. Our treatment co-ordinator Vicki was not very friendly and rather rude. Her demeanor was very dry and she was standoffish and seemed to only care about getting paid. She told me that we either had to pay the whole amount out of pocket, or wait another 6 weeks for them to submit care approval to our insurance company. I asked why this was not done when I first set up my appointment (I specified when I called that we were ready to go ahead with the treatment plan when I called to set up that appointment) - she had no explanation and told me that they can go ahead and put his braces on but then more than likely I would not get any insurance coverage because insurance required a pre-approval prior to doing any work. I agreed to reschedule the appointment for the next six weeks. I have not heard anything from them in the meantime and a few days prior to the upcoming appointment I called our insurer to make sure they received the claim and all was in good order. They notified me that they have not received anything. I called Lusting and Young and was notified that they made an error in submitting my son's birth day. No one bothered to check on the claim they supposedly submitted, no one called me to let me know that there was an issue - Had I not called myself, I would have again showed up for an appointment where I would be told that they have not gotten insurance pre-approval.I had the misfortune to speak with Vicki again, who was extremely condescending, rude and absolutely horrid to deal with. I told her that the fact that the claim was not received by my insurance company was due to the fact that it is THEIR office who made the error. Her response was "well I didn't know that". How are you a treatment co-ordinator and you have no idea when/how and if a claim was submitted? I cannot phantom how that woman made her way into a career where she deals with a public.I received a call from their office manager who assured me that she would re-submit the claim, and follow up with my insurance to make sure it was received on the third try.Two days after this I called my insurance again to verify that the claim was received and that my son's birthday was corrected - NO Claim was submitted! There was a call made to confirm my son's birth date and that was it.It broke my heart to have to tell my son TWICE now that we won't be able to get his beautiful smile journey started. So, if you are thinking of going to that office - please save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. In my view, I can do without a free tee shirt, fancy coffee or ice cream - I just want quality care for my son. I want reliable information, and security of knowing that when I show up for an appointment everything will be good to go. I want a treatment co-ordinator who will treat my family with care and respect we deserve.

My son sees Dr.Cinelli and he loves him and the staff here. He is autistic and so braces were a big deal for him but Dr. Cinelli and the staff gave us no grief about doing Invisalign instead of traditional braces. They have been so patient and kind with my son and go above and beyond to make him feel less anxious. I’ve never seen him so calm and comfortable at a dentists office before. I highly recommend them if you have a special needs child or teenager.
