Allan S. Thomas, DMD - Cosmetic and General Dentistry

If you think you already have an amazing dentist, I urge you not to settle on your opinion until you've experienced a visit to Dr. Thomas. I've had 6 or 7 dentists over the years, a couple I would consider excellent, standing out above the rest, but have never experienced anything like this. One of the first things Dr. Thomas said to me was that his goal was to help me keep the teeth I currently have for the rest of my life. I was so happy to understand that prevention is so important to him. He showed a clear passion for dentistry and people by educating me, answering my questions, and having cutting edge technology available to help determine my current dental condition. Examples: I've had multiple dentists tell me that I have more bone loss than expected for someone my age, but no dentist has ever sat down with me and dissected the reasons for this condition, and outlined a plan to isolate which reason(s) apply to me so we can prevent further loss. I have a grinding problem that I was able to ask questions about, and he provided answers no other dentist has explained, or even brought up. He advised of an action plan to determine which issues apply to me, and how we can measure their effectiveness and progress into the future. He did not just default to a mouth guard like other dentists have done, with no discussion. His attention was singular and unrushed, not to mention kind. His staff is a clear reflection that he cares about his patients. From my first text connection, to walking out the door after my appointment, I couldn't have asked for better treatment. His hygienist was one of the best I've had, with a clear superiority of knowledge of her craft, and how to treat her patients. I'm grateful Dr. Thomas was able to accept me as a new patient, and look forward to my continued treatment with him and his team.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Thomas and his staff! I came in for veneers, and the results have truly been life-changing. My smile has never looked better- I am so confident, more comfortable, and honestly like a whole new person. The entire staff was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were kind, professional, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. Every step was explained clearly, and their attention to detail was top-notch. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. If you’re considering veneers or any dental work- this is the place to go. Thank you all so much for giving me a reason to smile every day!

I highly recommend Dr. Allan Thomas. I had veneers done here and the quality was fantastic. Dr. Thomas and his staff took such good care of me. I like that they’re always on time, give high quality care and have personal touches - the experience has been amazing.

Dr. Thomas and his excellent staff remain committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technological methods that assist in evaluation and helping patients maintain their oral health. Dr. Thomas and the hygienists and technicians I have met with are very knowledgable about these techniques and can explain their functions, what they indicate, and how it affects my monitoring and home care of my aging dentition. While my previous dentist only indicated a "plan" to replace my teeth in light of my periodontal disease, Dr. Thomas and his staff have helped me work to reduce the problems of my periodontal disease. They treat me in ways that promote better gum health, monitor alveolar bone loss issues, repair my 40+ year-old fillings that have reached the end of their useful life, all to help me keep my teeth. As oral health is about more than just my mouth (there are at least ~58 known health problems affecting many parts of the body, including heart and brain, that can be linked to poor oral condition), I feel I receive the best possible care here at this office. I come in from out-of-state every 6 months because of the superior care that I get Dr. Thomas' office.

Dr. Thomas is the most professional dentist I've experienced in my 65 years. When you enter his office, it's clear that he cares deeply about the patient's comfort. He is always upgrading his equipment to provide the most modern and up-to-date care possible. I've yet to feel uncomfortable when he is working in my mouth with difficult dental procedures. I can always tell that he puts my comfort as his highest priority. He provides options like earphones linked to tv's on the ceiling to distract from the needed intrusion to perform his trade. He also takes time to communicate clearly the problems with my teeth and the plan to address them. He will be my dentist until I no longer need one.

It was a fantastic appointment. An old tooth “tune-up” broke last night. I called his team this morning and he was able to see me today… He began with an examination, then offered the solution. He and his assistant Erin then fixed the break during my appointment today! My tooth feels normal (i.e. totally fine). I have eaten, drank water, and got some exercise. I got veneers as a preventive measure. Dr. Thomas is amazing. He is completely up to date with the most cutting edge technology. He clearly continues his education and training, despite already having decades of experience. His support staff are not just assistants. They are knowledgeable professionals. Everyone is always pleasant and accommodating, but most importantly, competent. I am so happy with the service I have received from Dr. Thomas and his staff, for well over a decade. Go. You will be in good hands.

Have been with Dr Thomas for over 20 years and have had a great experience with him and his practice. Extremely professional, their follow up on procedures is great. Always get a call or text to make sure I'm doing ok if I have had any major work completed. Love the cookie at the end of the visit

Unfortunately Dr. Thomas is no longer “in network” for my insurance. Absolutely love him as a dentist and have been a patient for over 30 years. It feels like a lot of up-selling with my last couple of visits.
