Like Father like SonSeveral years ago I was a patient of Dr Jon Peterson. I needed a second opinion and his name came to my mind, to found out that he had retired and enjoying his grandchildren now. However, I learned that his son had taking over his practice. Chris is great, his father should be proud of him! The office does an excellent job to keep you safe. I strongly recommend Dr Chris Peterson and the rest of his team. As we say in Spanish " De tal palo tal astilla".

Dr Peterson is flat-out awesome. Extremely talented periodontist, great chair- side manner, welcoming and efficient staff. While I wish I didn't need a gum grafts, I am so grateful I was referred to him for the procedure. Zero post-op discomfort. Low stress environment. (And when I popped a stitch the first 72 hours post-procedure, the office got me in right away to make sure everything was stable.) Totally recomend!

Edit: Just got the “pre-treatment estimate” and this office straight up LIED about everything. It says “Network: NONPARTICIPATING DENTIST.” They also lied and told me periodontitis is reversible so that i would keep coming back to them. Just fyi; dentists and periodontists make a 6 figure salary.. i’m pretty sure these reviews are bought and paid for, that or they usually don’t deal with people who need insurance; they probably only serve people who can drop $500 on a visit that was supposedly covered. Rich or not, i wouldn’t recommend them. You don’t keep wealth by throwing money in the garbage. Come here at your own risk; these people will lie to get you in the door and they WILL bait and switch you. S K E T C H Y. Buyer beware.OG review: Soooo i’m definitely confused about all these good reviews and i’m wondering if they’re fake.Pre-appointment, we asked lots of questions: do you take our insurance? Yes. How much will our first visit be, tops, WITHOUT insurance covering any? $150. Do you do payment plans? Yes. Got there, had the appointment, and AFTER the appointment it’s: we MIGHT take your insurance and we’re not sure how much it covers… your bill is $400+ that is due NOW.. no we don’t take payments on first visits.We’re at a very awkward stage in switching and establishing careers and we asked these questions for a reason.. i feel like we were bait and switched BIG TIME. I had to fight tears on the way out. These people TOOK our money. We’re reporting them to any agency we can (including the Dental Board of CA). I can’t imagine we’re the only people they’ve done this to so i’m very confused about these reviews. This was NOT ok.

I highly recommend Dr. Peterson and his team for anyone who needs a gum graft. I was impressed with the informative pre-procedure consultation to the exceptional care on the day of the surgery, and throughout the recovery process. Dr. Peterson is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The team was supportive, ensuring a comfortable experience and providing thorough aftercare. Dr. Peterson and his team took the time to answer all my questions and would do so in a timely manner.

I was referred here by my regular dentist and couldn’t be happier. I’m a frequent flyer at the dentist and have been my whole life, which naturally comes with some anxiety and dread… their whole team is friendly, kind and attentive. This is so important to me, it truly puts my mind and nerves at ease.Dr Peterson has been absolutely great during the entirety of my treatments, he’s incredibly patient and informative. I highly recommend!

Yesterday was my first visit to Dr. Peterson's office. I had to have a tooth extraction. I was not looking foward to it and full of fear. Dr Peterson and staff put me at ease with thieir kindness and professionalism. I cannot recall a timeI had an extraction with minimal pain and swelling.I am looking foward to coming back for all my periodontic needs.

I have been a patient of Peterson Periodontics for over 30 years. Together we have battled Periodontal disease through routine maintenance, multiple oral surgeries, planings, bones grafts, a sinus lift and implant.Throughout this time they have been excellent, knowledgeable, and provided terrific care- allowing me to keep my teeth.Their new hygienist, Maneka just gave my my first cleaning with her. Peterson Periodontics provides a welcoming, relaxing, and clean environment for their patients. The staff and Dr. Peterson are not only professional and knowledgeable, but also very personable and friendly. Forgive me, I can't remember her name: The first staff member I worked with was over the phone.Extremely friendly, able to answer all my questions, and gave me suggestions to handle the parking chaos.Admin desk was prepared for me; ready to hand me forms to complete if I didn't bring completed email copies. Reviewed all paperwork for questions, took copay.Into exam room and prepped for doctor.Dr. Chris Peterson is a tall, middle -aged, fit family man who is very personable and friendly; works well with his staff. Speaks in people language not doctor.Spent about 10 minutes examining and an additional 5 minutes discussing.Dr. Peterson was very concerned about my comfort and questions being answered. Dr. Peterson is fantastic!! He was highly recommended to me by a leading expert in the field, and let me tell you, he did not disappoint. I have a tricky case, requiring a highly intelligent problem solver. He knew all about certain procedures that other practitioners had not even heard of. He answered all of my questions, of which I had many. He was patient, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. I left the appointment with solutions to problems I've had for a while. And the staff there was incredible! Friendly, helpful, efficient. They were engaging and funny, right along with Dr Peterson.
