Went to this place in december, they said i had 12 cavities that all needed to be filled. That seemed high to me and so i went to another place that found a few but only need to fill one and monitor the other couple because they are so small. What an awful scam! Do not trust these folks.

Unfortunately both times I came here I experienced terrible bedside manner, fear mongering about my dental health and constant attempts to upsell products. I will not be coming back.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in forever and Soothing dental were very patient with my frustrations over my dental negligence. Highly recommend them for their kindness.

Recently I had to go to the dentist, my first in the US and was shocked at how expensive just a filling was compared to back home. Contemplating to leave and just leave my tooth the way it was, the staff at Soothing Dental came to my rescue and they fixed my tooth at a discounted price. Thank you to everyone at Soothing Dental and Dr Saeidi for the kindness you showed in a time of need and giving me back my smile.

Great experience, I will go back. Soothing Dental was the most thorough teeth cleaning I've had in my thirty-six years. And while they cleaned my teeth, I listened to a podcast with my headphones. And they gave me a warm towel for my face afterwards! Dr. Saeidi took time to talk me through what she found, my options etc. I'm happy to now have a dentist I like in SF.

I had a great experience at Soothing Dental. I was visiting San Francisco and needed dental care. All the staff at this practice were great! Comforting, accommodating and professional. Dr. Saeidi was thorough and provided me with an in-depth diagnosis, several options and ultimately effective treatment. I would definitely recommend this practice.

I've never left negative feedback for anyone, but based on my experience with Dr. Saeidi, I would consider her to be a professional scam artist. She may give the facade of being kind/empathetic, but seems to have no real concern for ethics, integrity, or the well-being of others. I spoke with two other dentists (the other dentists are not located in SF, so they could give me unbiased opinions) about her and both of them gave recommendations to "stay away and go to another dentist." I'm surprised the dental board has not revoked her license yet.

This is the place to go if you have any fears/concerns about the dentist. The office is comfortable from the second you walk and the entire staff is awesome. I’ve never not had my needs met or my expectations exceeded…not something I ever thought I’d say about a dental office. If you’re looking for a great group of people who really take care of you, this is the place.

on my first visit to Soothing Dental the receptionist was exceptionally rude and for no reason. The lady was very condescending and had zero customer service skills. I still paid $172 for a "x-ray and check-up"- which did not even benefit my sore wisdom tooth. Cancelled all my future appointments here.

I was recently seeking a new dentist closer to my office for my 6-month cleaning and checkup. I found Soothing Dental online and called to see if they accepted my insurance, and they said "yes, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance". So I went ahead and made my appointment and gave them all my insurance details. Note: my insurance covers 100% of routine checkups and cleaning. When I arrived at the office, they again check my insurance card. I had the appointment and start to leave but they ask me to go into a "consultation room". She comes in and shows me a $507 bill. OMG At this point (after the exam and cleaning) it was revealed Soothing accepts my insurance BUT are "out of network". It seemed like this was intentionally not communicated because I obviously would have gone somewhere else if I knew this. My insurance ended up paying exactly 8% of the bill, so I paid over $450 when it would have been $0 at an in-network dentist. Also $507 is a ridiculous fee for checkup, x-rays and cleaning. My previous dentist billed $200 -- but it was 100% covered by insurance. I am sprinting back to my old dentist and writing him sonnets! This is also a good lesson to always check coverage with your insurance yourself, and not trust what a doctor's office says. And as a final note, when I brought up the the issue they just kept reminding me they do indeed accept my insurance but are out of network. Didn't reduce the bill by $1.
