I met Dr. Bal for the first time today- I was added on as an urgent appointment. I liked her a lot. She gave me her time and was very warm and reassuring - which I really appreciated as I am a very nervous person!

Dr. Ostwald is the best! Had a replacement front tooth put in 7 years ago and you can’t tell which one it is.

Visiting from Washington, DC, I lost a crown and needed to have it reinstalled. I chose Dr. Ostwald, who agreed to see me on short notice. It was a happy choice. He seems an expert and careful practitioner, and he and his office are very welcoming and considerate. He explains everything he is doing as he goes along, which I greatly appreciate.

I have been going to Dr. Ostwald’s office for 15+ years. He is a great doctor, and everyone who works there is great as well. The office is filled with light and has nice views from all the chairs. I think it must be the most pleasant dental practice in the world.

This was the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. The dentist was so kind and answered all of my questions and I wish I had come to him with my tooth chip in the first place as I went elsewhere where they did a terrible repair job. I would recommend him to everyone.

I am so grateful I found Dr Ostwald’s practice. I have an incredible fear of the dentist. I found out that Dr. Ostwald is especially sensitive to this ‘condition’, and he accommodates my (irrational) fear by listening to me, allowing me to listen to distracting music, and he informs me of everything he is doing so I know what to expect. Dr Ostwald will stop drilling if I ask him to - this makes me trust him completely. Dr. Ostwald is an expert at numbing the part of my mouth he needs to work on. He has all the equipment necessary to perform a root canal, and place a custom crown in a most expedient way which reduces the amount of time I have to be exposed to my fear of the procedure. I know come in regularly for cleanings which is a a huge change for me. Before I met Dr Ostwald and his staff, I hadn’t been to the dentist in almost 10 years. Dr Ostwald is a great dentist! My fear of procedures is greatly reduced and I receive the very best dental work! Thank you!

I've known Dr. Ostwald since he was a resident at the Mount Zion Dental Clinic back in the early 80s. He has been my dentist for 30 years. Can't recommend him highly enough. As well as being an excellent and compassionate dentist, he is a man of integrity. Although he is careful to inform me of the risks and benefits of any dental work that's not urgent but might lead to problems later on, I have never felt pressured to have the work done. I feel free to make the decision in my own time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and over 30 years there hasn't been much turnover; to me this indicates that Dr. Ostwald is a good and fair employer. I would recommend Dr. Ostwald to anyone who's looking for a good dentist!

I have been going to see Dr. Ostwald for more than twenty years and he is an excellent dentist. He is totally up to date on new technologies, has great communication skills and is a really nice guy. I've had a few crowns over the years and Dr. Ostwald is not satisfied until they look right and you are satisfied. I highly recommend him.
