I just returned to my Hotel after FORTUNATELY seeing Dr Baker!!! I broke a molar last night and needed a fast appointment due to the fact that I am taking a cruise tomorrow. Naturally,I was apprehensive,I left an e-mail explaining my problem and circumstance and Jorge{Appointment Coordinator} replied at 7 am. I called him right back and he said to come in. Dr Baker evaluated the situation and gave me options, the best was to completely repair it with a crown. I was concerned that it could not be accomplished in the one day that I had available in Seattle, but was re-assured that it would be done. The procedure was painless and the permanent crown was fitted and I was done in 2 hours! I MUST commend not only Dr. Baker and Jorge, but Jasmine and Heather who assisted Dr Baker. THEIR COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONALISM took the stress out of what could have been a REALLY BAD DAY. I cannot speak highly enough about this practice and staff. It could have been the end of my vacation. They made sure it was just the beginning. Thank You All!

Dr. Baker and his entire team are great! From the moment you enter the office you get greeted by the lovely front desk assistants. I love that they go over the findings of the X-Rays with you and actually show you what is going on and what to do. Also they take pictures of your teeth; it's a great way to point out the areas that need work, and again is visual so you can see it, they are not making it up. I had an amazing experience and excited to have them as my dental team! If you are looking for high quality, top notch care this is the place to go.

I recently learned the hard way how important it is to find a dentist who truly listens and provides comprehensive care. I had some bleeding between my teeth when I flossed, and my first dentist just brushed it off as gingivitis, telling me to floss and brush more. Something didn't feel right about that, so I decided to get a second opinion. That's how I found Dr. Baker – and it's actually kind of funny how it happened. I was at a Halloween party, of all places, and we were talking about candy and how our teeth aren't as nimble as they used to be. Someone mentioned Dr. Baker, and I'm so glad they did! From the moment I stepped into their office, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Baker took the time to really listen to my concerns, unlike my previous dentist. They performed a thorough exam, looking at my teeth, my X-rays, and asking about my dental history. They took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions, which I really appreciated. Turns out, my gut feeling was right. Dr. Baker found a different issue and suggested a different treatment. Instead of just brushing and flossing more, they suggested the replacement of a crown where the bleeding of my gums was occurring. My tooth and gums feel so much better now! I'm incredibly thankful to Dr. Baker for their expertise. They likely saved me from a root canal and helped me keep what remains of my natural tooth. I highly recommend Dr. Baker to anyone looking for a dentist who is thorough, caring, and truly cares about preserving their patients’ teeth. If you're ever unsure about a diagnosis or treatment plan, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion from Dr. Baker – you won't regret it! The whole team at Seattle Dental Associates was super friendly and extremely helpful.

I have seen Dr. Baker since 2008. Today he placed a crown and it was an awesome experience. It took 2.5 hours from start to finish (no having to come back for another trip). I was impressed with the quality of work and dare I say enjoyed my time! Thank you!

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written but after the unethical and unscrupulous practice I’ve experienced, I wanted other clients to be aware! I was really happy to have found this office a little over a year ago. Dr Baker and his office staff were friendly and the office was close to my home. At my first appointment back in 10/2023, Dr Baker told me that my gums are receded due to biting down and grinding my teeth while I sleep. At the time he stated that one of the option would be to put protective fillings on the teeth for support but that he wouldn’t recommend that yet. Six month later, I was notified that his office was no longer within Delta Dental network, but I decided to continue with the office for now. I went back for my annual xray and cleaning a few weeks ago and Dr Baker now informs me that for my receded gums he recommends 7 fillings! In addition, he saw something in the xray and decided that I have a cavity in one tooth. Since he is not a network provider, my out of pocket cost would be over two thousand dollars! I decided to switch to a dentist in network since I couldn’t justify paying that much for fillings when I have an insurance. I transferred my X-rays to a new in network dentist and went in for the cavity filling this week. I was shocked to find out that I DID NOT have a cavity. The new dentist saw something in the xray but wasn’t sure so she took 2 new X-rays of the tooth at no cost to me. She reviewed the 2 X-rays with another dentist in the office and they both agreed that my tooth was healthy!!! They stated that maybe in Dr Bakers xray, there was a shadow or something on his xray machine. Dr Baker would have drilled into my healthy tooth!!! Additionally the new dentist recommended just 3 protective fillings, not 7 like Dr Baker stated. What really upsets me is that did my gums recede so much in one year that his recommendation drastically changed or did he know one year ago that he was leaving Delta Dental network so he waited until he was out of network to recommend fillings for 7 teeth???? I find his actions so unprofessional and unethical! I would never recommend anyone to this office and before you agree to any substantial treatment, get a second opinion!!!
