Growing Great Grins

We absolutely love GGG. We’ve been going here for about a year and a half now, and every time is absolutely seamless. My kids and I actually look forward to their 6 month cleanings lol. The atmosphere is amazing and so fun and inviting. My boys actually get ready to go EARLY so they have time to play in the game room before their appointments. While they play waiting to be called back, us adults are treated to a menu of items to choose from to enjoy while we wait in blissful silence while our little angels’ fangs are being cleaned lol.. yesterday I enjoyed a Perrier while I Easter shopped without interruptions.. it was bliss and the closest thing to a spa experience I’ve had in a long time lol.When they’re called back, their blood pressure, temperature and weight is taken, which I appreciate so much. Most often, dentistry is seen as separate from healthcare, as if the mouth doesn’t play just as an important role in regards to our overall health as other systems of the body. I love that GGG takes the time to check those numbers and takes a more holistic approach in that regard.For more naturally minded/leaning parents - we know the feeling of being judged or side eyed for our medical choices, it’s just apart of life these days, but you will get none of that here. I’ve never been pressured to do anything I didn’t want to do, or felt judged for not doing it, which is wonderful and a breath of fresh air. I personally don’t like to do X-rays unless absolutely necessary, and we never use fluoride, and I’ve been met with nothing but respect for those choices. Dr. Leslie’s approach is also very conservative where work/procedures are concerned, which I appreciate so much. All of this is wrapped up in the most kid friendly, beautiful, fun, colorful atmosphere you can imagine. My kids act like they just went to a kids play place instead of getting their teeth cleaned lol.GGG is stuck with us for the long haul, because we’re not going anywhere else! ❤️

Hands down the best pediatric dental office in North Houston!My fiery child needed some work done. I knew our regular pediatric dentist wasn’t going to be a good fit for him so I took a friend’s recommendation for Growing Great Grins. So happy I did! They are absolute magic!They have built such a huge rapport with him and have made him so comfortable. They got my emotional 3 year old lying for multiple procedures like it’s nothing, with no sedation or meds at all. No tears and asking when he gets to come back at the end of it. I was/am shocked! My anxiety was very high with him needing work and I am so thankful we found these wonderful people who have made it the best experience it could possibly be.Everyone in the office is amazing 👏👏👏

Phenomenal experience! From getting checked in to getting X-rays, cleanings and checking out. My 5 year old felt calm for the whole cleaning. My 18 month old let the dentist check her teeth out and get fluoride! There was no pressure to get these things done and every staff member made sure this was a positive experience. They even gave the kids goodie bags and me a welcome bag! If you're looking for the place where your toddler is going to feel amazing going to the dentist this is the best dentist we've ever been to!

100% trust in the staff! The entire experience we have had were/are phenomenal.both my husband and I were so overwhelmed with how well our sons first appointment went we told everyone we could. My son doesn't cry at all when coming here( it use to be a battle at our previous dental office) he looks forward to his appointments now he's 3! Hands down the best staff and office imaginable. The kids play area is great to pass time until you get called back. They offer complimentary drinks for parents. They even play my sons favorites show/movies while he is getting his cleanings done! It makes it so much easier and more fun experience for him. The staff and dentist even had out tokens so the Littles can get prizes at the end of the visit!

I was referred to Dr. Blackburn by a friend and I’m so happy we found them. She is so happy and both my kids (1 and 5) love her! She makes all of us feel very comfortable. And I have to stress how amazing the receptionist, Luis, is. He is so sweet and is eager to help you with anything. This clinic seriously couldn’t have a better staff.

The charge is ridiculously high. Prophylaxis for $94; periodic oral evaluation $69; fluoride $50; bitewings-two films $73. The total cost for a child to do a clean is $286. It is insane. For an adult, it is just about $100. I argued with them, they just said they have their own way to charge, do not compare with other clinic. Pay off the bill. Keep away for it.

The atmosphere, staff, and services were absolutely perfect! I am so thankful we found Growing Great Grins. My daughter has had 2 procedures in the office and when I say they made these experiences so positive for my 7 year old, I mean it. They genuinely gets kids and leave nothing unconsidered in making it a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

If you're searching for a dentist for your kiddo, but stop here, pick up your phone, and make an appointment. Seriously.I am in shock. Literally dr Blackburn and the ENTIRE staff are the BEST human beings on this planet. My jaw was probably on the floor the entire visit because I just was not ready for the level of outstanding, perfect, 10/10, chef’s kiss care my mini received today. Dr. Blackburn is a miracle worker. She showed my babe so much patience and gave her so much grace. She literally went at the pace my girl was comfortable with and oh my goodness everything went so smooth.They also have toys on deck, I literally had a Frappuccino while we waited, they have an entire game room for the kiddos. You can tell the entire office was so well thought out and designed. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Growing Great Grins!!!!!!! We are so thankful to have found such a great team for our girl!!!(Ps: Dr. Blackburn…. if y’all could go ahead and bump the age cutoff up a decade or two so I could be your patient , that would be great 😂)

Dr. Blackburn and her team have been the best dental office I have taken my daughter to! The assistants and hygienists all talked so kindly to their patients as they worked on them. Dr. Blackburn made sure we understood what was done and was so patient with my daughter. We were offered something to drink and my daughter left with a goodie bag and balloon, right after getting to use a token on a sweet vending machine. The friendliness and professionalism are beyond outstanding here!

THIS DENTIST OFFICE IS AWESOME!!! If you are looking for a dentist for your little ones, this is the place to go. They treated my son with such care and also made sure that I was ok. I’ve been raving about Growing Great Grins to my family and friends since leaving their office today.Update: My son has been asking to go back to the dentist everyday since his visit 😂
