I had a great experience at Southshore Smiles! The hygienist was gentle with my teeth and was compassionate (I was anxious). The dentist was also compassionate, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He recommended a mouth guard, but didn't try to get me to spend a lot of money by having one made. He suggested buying one off Amazon or at Walgreens. Everyone, the entire staff, was really nice and welcoming! I will definitely be returning in 6 months!

Awesome awesome that they are!! My husband had switched jobs and his new insurance didn’t cover braces so I was looking for a dentist that would do my sons braces at a reasonable price well long behold looking in the coupon booklet and who do I see Dr Shieh to the rescue! I am forever grateful for him! If it wasn’t for him my son still wouldn’t have them! Everybody in there is so friendly I feel like I’ve been knowing them forever!

Always a great experience! They get us in same day when something unexpected happens.During cleaning/exam if any cavities are found they fill them same day. No addition visit needed! Dentist caring, friendly, spends time explaining options, don't feel rushed. My kids are very comfortable here!

I've only been to this office once with my 4 year old son and I will never bring him to another pediatric dentist. The entire staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. I loved how they interacted with my son. It appeared genuine and not fake. My son trusted them. He was able to sit still for a tooth extraction because they were quick, efficient and said the right things. He even said "I like my new dentist!" after his procedure. They let him pick out prizes and he enjoyed that. Offices is very clean as well.

My little girls always feel so comfortable with the staff and Doctors at South Shore! They have had cleanings and fillings and have never been nervous about trips to the dentist! Infact, my girls get excited to go because they like the staff and know that they will get a surprise from me if no cavities 😊 and when they do a good job. The comfort is well worth the 1hr trip (one way).

We were recommended to south shore smiles through a family friend and honestly it has been the best transition. Dr. Dunlop is a fantastic dentist, she is so sweet, calming and caring!! My 8 had an extraction and she only teared up from the fear, the procedure was so fast and painless! This will be where my entire family is seen from now on!

Hello, today I was messaged on my phone to move up my appointment. I was happy to hear this since I knew I had a really bad tooth! Their communication was wonderful and I arrived on time. The nursing staff greeted me with a SMILE and welcomed me for being a first time pt. I filled out the paper work that was given to me on a tablet (very high tech and easy) and was brought back before I was finished. Nurse was so kind and calmed my nerves by talking to me and expressing concern for what I've gone through. Doctor then came in checked my tooth and immediately knew what to do. He gave me options and explanations with recovery information for all of them. Once I choose an option it was straight into numbing and relaxing. Soon after I got another dose and was checked for correct numbness placement before he dug in. Soon after the tooth was completely removed without any discomfort. I was so impressed with the doctor's calm approach and readiness. Needless to say I'll be back in 2 weeks for my cleaning! Can't wait. Never thought I'd say that about a dentist. Even the receptionist checking me out was kind and direct to getting me the soonest appointment for what I needed.

Love this place. The dentist and the assistants are nice, professional, patient and considerate. I don’t only love this place for myself but I love it for my son as well. He had a tooth extraction and had no idea until he made it home. That's where the patient part comes in. I recommend this dental practice over any other in this area.

Fantastic experience with my toddler. From booking, check in, the cleaning, and exam everyone was friendly and great. I was worried ahead of this appointment because my kiddo's previous exam with another St. John smile doctor was terrible. The other place made me feel like a bother and I had to hold down my screaming child for someone who seemed annoyed by it. Not this time!! We found our go-to for pediatric dentistry at South Shore Smiles.

The staff is ALWAYS helpful and courteous. Dr. Shieh takes his time and explains everything before and after his treatments. He remembers his patients history before even sitting down to look at them. Dr Dunlop is so down to earth and friendly with kids. She makes my children feel comfortable to get their teeth cleaned and worked on. Overall, the best Dentist I have ever seen.
