Little Jaws Big Smiles

I had my 3.5 month old evaluated for a tongue and lip tie. He was found to have a moderate tongue and lip tie. Dr Nolan explained the pros and cons of the laser treatment without pressure. We went ahead with the treatment, and my baby's feeding has improved so, so much. She called us personally a few hours after the procedure to check in and was so kind. I highly recommend them for tongue and lip tie consultations/procedure

Extremely compassionate staff. Absolutely wonderful doctors. My son is autistic and very iffy on various aspects of being on the spectrum. They went above and beyond my expectations with my son. They were extremely helpful with what needs to be done going forward, and they were so great with him. They worked with his sensory issues, made him feel so comfortable especially for only just meeting him. Made a game out of showing him the equipment that would be used during this visit and allowed him to have a mirror to play around with and a hand puppet to play with as he had a cleaning and exam. Just overall excellence from the doctors and staff. I HIGHLY recommend this practice. They were excellent.

My son had a tooth that was being stubborn and when we tried to pull it out I got floss stuck. I called and they were able to get him right in. They were so nice about everything explained what to do in the future and quickly and painlessly were able help the tooth fall out and send us on our way. Dr. Tansy is amazing and so patient and kind and explains everything to the kids in a way that is understood and ensures they have little to no discomfort or pain.

Both of my kids (ages 5 and 3) are patients and we always have a very positive experience at each appointment. All of the staff is very friendly and patient. Also, my son had a cleaning scheduled on 2 occasions when my daughter coincidentally had dental issues arise. Both times they were able to squeeze her in so we didn’t have to make separate trips. We so appreciated how accommodating they were!! :)

I wish I could leave 10 starts for Little Jaws Big Smiles! I appreciate Dr. Nolan and the staff so much. My daughter is autistic and has a significant communication disability. Of the 3 pediatric dentists that we have worked with before, Dr. Nolan and her team is the best. I am completely blown away by how well they partner with parents and how intentionally they keep kids well-being at the center of all their decisions.In my opinion they go far above and beyond to support kids and families. They balance supporting dental care and kids emotional/mental health. They ask for input from parents as needed. They take the time to personalize accommodations and strategies. And they graciously and patiently share expertise and include parents in decision making.We are so lucky to have found them, and so grateful for the work they do in the community! We have been taking our developmentally disabled child to Little Jaws Big Smiles for many years. Every experience has been amazing! They are always patient and kind, and go the extra mile to make every visit a positive experience. Our child has many sensory issues, oral aversions, and developmental delays. Dr. Nolan and staff has always taken the time and care needed to explain, demonstrate, and accommodate our son’s unique needs and abilities. I cannot speak highly enough of them and recommend them to anyone looking for quality, compassionate, and supportive dental care for kids!

Our youngest daughter is autistic and could barely tolerate being in any sort of medical setting. We shopped several pediatric dentists and finally (thankfully) found LJBS.Dr Nolan and her staff are simply incredible. They've been able to work with our daughter over the past 2 years (including one very major dental surgery) and she is no longer afraid of the dentist, or any other medical facility. She was even _excited_ to get her teeth cleaned yesterday and was looking forward to seeing Dr Nolan!This was due, in no small part, to LJBS and Dr Nolan. Their care, patience, understanding and ability to listen to patients who struggle to speak for themselves is simply unmatched and has changed our daughter and family's life immeasurably. We're so thankful that we found this dental practice and would highly recommend to anyone looking for to tier care for their child. Especially for those with special needs children.

The staff are patient and professional. The office is clean and designed for children to be comfortable. My three year old loves the "bear cave", while my 7 year old daughter, appreciates Dr. Tansy explaining each step of the process to her. They have no fear of the dentist thanks to this amazing practice. They seem to always be running on time and well organized.

We came to this practice because my oldest daughter absolutely hated the dentist and with a plan laid out by Dr. Nolan she now can successfully get through her cleanings and x rays. Dr. Nolan goes the extra mile to ensure her patients get excellent care. Everyone in the office is extremely caring and sensitive to each child’s needs. Sam Baton gave my daughter such amazing care, patience and compassion. My daughter adores her and looks forward to seeing both Sam and Dr. Nolan !

We have been taking our older daughter here since she was 6 months old and is now 6 years old. We now bring her baby sister here as well. The staff is friendly, accommodating and understanding. Our youngest just had her first dental exam and it was such a breeze. She smiled the whole time. Our oldest was slightly hesitant to be in the middle open area so they provided a private room for her dental exam which made the process smooth. They always take the time if your little one is unsure and make it a point to show exactly what will happen. We love it here and would highly recommend to anyone needing a pediatric dentist.
