More concerned about money and procedures that were going to yield him the big bucks instead of preventive care and the restoration of my teeth that required a cleaning and perhaps a filling. My last visit there to review the outcome of my surgery was not pleasing. He bounced from room to room between me and another patient and was not attentive and personable. I was highly disappointed. This was not the norm and I expected different. I didn't even get an opportunity to address my concerns.

This office is fantastic, from the moment you open the door, the customer service is excellent, the Doctor and his assistant are super friendly, they give you peace of mind, confidence and understanding. The doctor explained everything to me with great command and knowledge. They have already scheduled my next appointment and I feel very calm and happy. I have to point out that since I have lived in the USA, this is the first time I have found such perfect service. Dr JPT and his staff did a great job! I have had many cleanings for over 20 straight years and I can honestly say they have taken the lead on all other visits with dental offices. They took their time and gave great information for maintenance of my teeth and most importantly of all they were not pushy! I left there with a New Tampa Smile. No pun intended! Thanks again!

Best dentist experience ever. They make you feel comfortable, they really care. Doctor Taveras listen to you and take time to explain what is going on and what treatment plan is best for you.The prices are unbeatable. Beyond GREAT experience with the Dr and his staff!From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, they were amazing. Very clean office and state of the art equipment. Dr. Tavares has hands of silk! I went in for a broken tooth, had an extraction and did not feel any pain. The staff is excelent communicating.They explain pros/cons and walk you through the procedures making you feel at ease. Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. Not to mention how great they are with kids. I've never seen a child run in to sit for a cleaning and meet their hygienist with a hug.Thank you for being the BEST New Tampa Smiles!

First time there everyone seem genuinely interested in what they are doing just did pictures of teeth will go back to get wisdom pulled so we we will see how it goes I think they are really great I got the wisdom teeth pulled out it was a good experience I'll be back thanks for everything. New Tampa Smiles has welcoming and kind staff that makes my whole family feel valued as customers. Dr. Taraverse does periodontal work which is greatly valued for members of my family, and he has helped me feel comfortable in a dentist office which is something I've never felt before. Cannot say enough great things about this office!

Dr Taveras is an amazing dentist. I chipped my tooth for the 3 time and needed it to get fixed before Christmas.I called today 12/16/22 and his staff was able to see me at 2pm and my tooth was fixed by 3:30pm.He explained everything thoroughly and was a breathe of fresh air!The office is modern, the staff were accommodating even offering me bottled water.If felt like I was at a spa instead of a dentist! I'm relieved and my tooth is fixed.5 Stars all the way!
