Anacapa Orthodontics has the kindest, friendliest staff. Every staff member that I've interacted with has made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Smith is great from my consultation to treatment (current)! He spent all the time I needed to explain how my treatment would go and what to expect. He is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable trusting him with my treatment. I have not had the best experience in the past with other offices but Anacapa Orthodontics is the best!

From the beginning of the process to the end Dr. Smith and the rest of the staff were not only friendly and knowledgeable, but extremely helpful too! They explained to us each step of the process, got on the girls when they did not brush properly, and they helped me so much with the insurance, so they could cover as much as possible. If I could give 10 stars I would! What started out as a (what I thought!) quick, pre wedding tune up turned into a almost 3 year orthodontic journey. I had braces as a teen, but stopped wearing my retainer…oops! I went to Dr. Smith thinking I could just get Invisalign to straighten my smile, but turned out I needed full on braces (again)! Dr. Smith was patient, always explained the process, and empathetic. We started with Aligners during my wedding season and then I got full on metal braces to finish the job. As a 30 year old getting braces- I was not a happy camper, but now that my braces are off I couldn’t be happier with my new smile! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Smith and the gals in the office. Special shoutout to Megan who was so careful with all my wires changes!! The only thing I’ll miss about braces is the team at Anacapa.

We have been coming to Anacapa Orthodontics since the beginning! We saw Dr Hannah previously and appreciated his knowledge, the friendliness of his staff as well as the cleanliness of the office. When Dr Smith took over the practice we were very pleased with the smooth transition and even more impressed with the updated technology and facelift to the office. It’s comforting to see some familiar staff faces and also to meet the new, friendly staff. In our household we have had 1 child graduate from braces with a beautiful smile, 2 kiddos that are in the middle of their treatment and 1 more that just started their orthodontic journey. Dr.Smith and all his staff are amazing! When I initially went to anacapa orthodontics for a consultation I was blow away by not only the technology that was being used but how thorough Dr.Smith was with showing me through my x-rays how my teeth could be moved and what they would essentially look like after braces. You can tell Dr.Smith loves what he does, he’s such a professional at it, and extremely knowledgeable. I went with the Invisalign option which was such an easy process and got my teeth ready just in time for my wedding. Ventura is so lucky to have an orthodontist like Dr.Smith and his team! I'm an adult and my teeth were beginning to get a little crooked. I asked my dentist about it, and he referred me to Dr. Smith at Anacapa Orthodontics. My initial (consultation) visit was very informative. I told Dr. Smith that I thought I might be 'a little too old for braces?', but he said that many adults have their teeth corrected with orthodontics. We reviewed all the options and he explained everything very well. I signed up for 'old fashioned' metal braces. I have no regrets! My teeth slowly corrected and are now aligned and straight. My braces were recently removed, after being in place for about 11 months. My teeth look fantastic and I couldn't be happier. The process of having my teeth corrected went smoothly. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Smith and his staff; everyone is kind, patient, professional, and welcoming. They kept me informed and answered all my questions along the way. I would recommend Anacapa Orthodontics without hesitation... to people of all ages!
