From the moment I arrived everyone was so pleasant. Debbie was an angel and went to work pleasantly cleaning my teeth. Giving me tips on keeping my teeth healthy. Dr. Jamie came in and checked everything out and showed me the places of concern. It was a great appointment and I look forward to the next. I’m very happy I chose Handcrafted Smiles in Villa Park.

Every visit is always so nice. The office is always clean, quiet, and bright. No one is judgmental or pushy about care. They are accommodating to people with anxiety and take their time to make sure you are comfortable. Many other dentist I have been to have been cold dark and painful experiences. This is always quick and easy.Thank you all!

FYI: This is a detailed review after TWO visits (cleaning+cavity filling and whitening!)I am normally very hesitant with trying new dentist offices, but I had moved and my dentist from childhood to adulthood is now inconvenient and too far. I was having dinner with my close friend and I really admired how white her smile was. She told me her dentist helped straighten and whiten her teeth. I told her I am too nervous to go to a new dentist and had not gone for over 2-3 years.She spoke highly of the place and I got a little curious. I did my research online and saw the amazing reviews and decided I would finally check out the place myself. I scheduled for only a cleaning and nothing else as I was very nervous.They were very accommodating with the scheduling and got me in very quick as I had told them I have not seen a dentist in a while. They notified and confirmed my appointment via text (or email) which I loved.On the day of the appointment, my hygienist was Gina, who was very friendly and gentle. I also got to meet Dr. Kenny who told me I had a cavity. (My FIRST CAVITY ever! No wonder I had some weird sensitivity!) I freaked out a little but he reassured me he would take care of it and he did! I have heard of horror stories from friends and family about the pain of getting a cavity filled...but I felt nothing at all! Maybe it was his gentle touch or modern equipment or numbing technique?!I was very embarrassed for not having gone to the dentist in years, but the staff treated me like family on my first visit and were not judgmental at all. Instead they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Since my first visit went so well with Gina and Dr. Kenny, I asked about whitening before I left and got scheduled right away.I had some noticeable staining from my daily coffees and teas, so I honestly was not sure what to expect, but after the treatment I was VERY IMPRESSED! I have used Crest White Strips in the past, but they did minimal whitening and caused A LOT of sensitivity. I had minimal sensitivity with the treatment and my teeth looked SO GOOD!!! Definitely a confidence booster for me.I am so happy to say that I have a new dentist going forward! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family!
