Family Smiles of the Hudson Valley

First visit, my husband was in pain in his far back tooth and the dentist told him it was infected so they gave him antibiotics. (fine) Then they told him the tooth should just be pulled (not worth a root canal since it was the back tooth) Then, they referred him to an oral surgeon.(annoying) Almost all of them had no availability for at least a month. So, finally, he found one 40 mins away. Why can't a dentist just pull the tooth? Why send to an oral surgeon? ALL dentists are capable and educated to pull a tooth. This is just so pathetic. I will not recommend them.

I have used this dentist office for the last 6 years and unfortunately the last two years have been unpleasant experiences. I have lost work hours and overtime hours because they have cancelled 3 of my appointments over the past two years...that is 50% of the time. I am tired of losing money due to their incompetence and then trying to reschedule several months down the road. I am done with this place.

The past few years I have been dentist jumping, just never felt comfortable. I have had 3 appointments already and I have felt completely welcomed every time. Their sanitizing protocols are excellent and their customer service is 5 star. Dr. Piton is friendly and explains everything in detail, he’s also quick which is good for me!I would also like to give a special shout out to all the ladies in the office, from the front staff to the nurses. You are all doing an amazing job, don’t let anyone ever make you feel like you aren’t 😉

Just got my cleaning done and let me tell you thee best dental experience I've ever had. SERIOUSLY! Marina did an excellent job. She was patient. She wasn't rough like most dentist are. She understands how uncomfortable a dentist visit can be. She took my x-rays and she was very gentle. And i appreciate the fact that she took her time to explain my xrays and she explained the numbers she explained everything. She actually cared. Marina thanks again for this experience. Front desk was warm and inviting. Everyone was just positive. I was dreading this day because I haven't been to a dentist in a VERY LONG TIME but this visit was great.

They are always ready to assist in scheduling and accommodate last minute requests.Their outgoing personalities enhance the dental experience.Family Smiles is fortunate to have such accomplished young ladies in house! Just had a cleaning and filling done with Dr. Kapur and her dedicated staff. The whole experience was filled with laughter and fun. Honestly, if you’re afraid of visiting the dentist, go to Family Smiles. The whole experience was amazing, and they really go out of their way to make you comfortable (let alone the fact that they do an amazing job!)

In calling as a new patient, I spoke with Pat throughout the whole process who was incredibly helpful. I had some insurance related concerns arise and Pat took the time and attention to address these concerns right away. She was patient and kind and never made me feel badly about the process! I was blown away by the customer service considering I wasn’t even a patient yet and was already receiving such amazing service!

I have been a patient with the family smiles Hudson Valley dentists since the late 90's. I was always impressed with their ability to identify my oral hygienic needs as well as my emergency needs. They were always conscientious in providing me with reasons as to why the plan they identified will provide Pro active health care in the long. I have worked with just about every dentist at this location including the owners, I have been very pleased. They are conveniently located and have other locations that are offered to you as well. Thank you for my continued great experiences and allowing me to keep smiling with pride!

I am very pleased with the staff and Dr. Kapur. She removed 5 old veneers from my teeth and put in a temporary until my new veneers are ready. Very little if any pain as she did a great job with the Novocaine shots. I would recommend her and this office to anyone!So Dr. Kapur attached the new veneersThey look great! Again very pleased.

I have been a Patient at this Dentist when it was called Flores and Gross. After my daughter"s PediatricDentist closed, I brought my Daughter to this Practice, that is how good I thought and think they are. The service has changed . It is still good especially the Hygenist, Alicia. It is because of Alicia, I continue to go to Family Smiles.
