Bad communication, unorganized, unfriendly, snarky/sarcastic responses, and complete waste of time/money. Only thing positive that came out of this is that I was glad (at the very last minute, I’m sitting in the chair) the doctor told me couldn’t remove my wisdom teeth at my promised date/time. So thank you for being honest about that because it was even more reason to not want to give another cent to this establishment. Not to mention, there was not one apology when she told me she couldn’t do it at the promised time and when I tried to give her feedback about how I felt on the organization of it all. Went to a different practice and the doctors there have WAYYY better communication skills and organization.

I had a terrible experience with the front desk / receptionist at Capital Oral & Facial Surgery Center. Communication is a key part of any medical procedure and I was met with extremely poor, unkind, and unprofessional communication. There was a lack of clarity during my phone calls to the office and I was received with rudeness at my consultation. The receptionist rolled her eyes at me for a miscommunication around scheduling a wisdom tooth extraction surgery and proceeded to interrupt and argue with me as I signed the documents for an upcoming procedure. Miscommunications happen—this is normal—but mistreating clients is not. I received kind and considerate communication from the other receptionist and an apology (via phone call) for her colleagues behavior after I walked out of the office. While I appreciated the apology, it didn’t come from the right person. Quality of care extends beyond the dentists chair, and should reflect across a client’s experience. I hope that no one is met with the level of disregard and disrespect I was met with at my appointment. As a direct result of the receptionist’s lack of professionalism, I decided not to follow through with the procedure. I had an emergency extraction at another clinic the following day and I had an incredible experience from beginning to end.

I truly do not have enough good things to say about Capital Oral and Facial Surgery and Dr. Rostami! If you are looking to get your wisdom teeth extracted, look no further; I HIGHLY recommend this office! From the moment I called to set up an appointment (with incredible availability) I knew that I had made the right choice. I was so nervous for this procedure and had been dreading it, but everyone in the office was kind, patient, compassionate, and helped me to feel at ease. The procedure itself went way better than I expected, and I felt pretty much back to normal within a few hours. I also hardly had any swelling which I’m going to attribute to the talent of the doctor. Overall, I am so glad that I had Dr. Rostami extract my wisdom teeth! I’d give Capital Oral ten stars if I could!
