We were from out of town and my son's brace broke off. The doctor not only was able to immediately accomodate our needs with an urgent appointment, but also replaced the braces with brand new braces. The doctor also shared a video for how to take care of your braces in case of emergency. Cannot say enough of good things about this facility, care and doctor! Thank you.

Everything is first class, from scheduling the appointment to the actual visits themselves, and of course the results! I'm writing as a very satisfied patient/client of Georgetown Orthodontics who has just completed my Invisaligne services. As a senior (in life, not high school), I had become increasingly self conscious of my teeth - which, notwithstanding wearing braces as a teen, had shifted dramatically in recent years - especially my top front teeth. The situation was bad enough that t I looked like one of my front teeth was missing because of shadow cast. I actually stopped smiling for a number of years in a way that would show my teeth - leading to an aged, pursed-lip look. Dr. Blackwood gave me really good advice to select the Invisaline product to correct my teeth alignment. His office, including off-street parking, was easily accessible - even coming from Potomac. (Thank goodness for Canal Road!) His staff are great; and the office is charming - a great collection of black-and-white photos of mid-20th century DC life. Most importantly, the painless, inconspicuous and fairly rapid Invisaline process really worked and has given me back my confidence to "smile openingly and broadly" again. I highly recommend Dr. Blackwood, Georgetown Othodontics, and Invisaline.
