MINT dentistry | Waxahachie

I have what people would call an irrational fear of the dentist. My wife made an appointment for me here against my will but I had to go or I would get charged $50. So, I went and told them I couldn’t handle having any metal tools or prodding instruments put in my mouth. Due to that, they couldn’t do anything for me. As far as I know, I wasn’t charged any extra so that is a plus.

I'm a new patient and I have to say from the moment I walked into the office til the moment I walked out, I had an awesome experience. Everyone was so nice and professional. Questions were asked and they were answered. I was explained everything that was seen and came up with a game plan. Was an overall calming experience. Highly recommend!! Thanks Mint!

I wish I could give zero stars. I feel obligated to share my experience. Please please get a second opinion before you have work done here. I was quoted a treatment plan totaling over $7,500 out of pocket for several different treatments. I went back to my original dentist office in town where they reviewed the same images Mint took saying I only needed 2 small fillings totaling $315. Mint said I needed a full cap on a tooth because it has a stain on it. Not a cavity. Please get a second opinion before you spend your hard earned $$ on unnecessary procedures.

Absolute perfect experience from the moment we walked in the door! I went with my daughter for support because she has high anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. However, I truly didn’t even need to be there because they were so patient, supportive and gentle with her. I was totally impressed with the entire office staff. They were all very friendly and personable yet very efficient. We will be back!

VERY pleasant experience! I went in for a regular routine cleaning and everyone there was super nice. They made sure I was comfortable! The women (I apologize I forgot her name) was very gentle with my teeth. The cleaning went really smooth and I was happy with the results. Everything is very clean too! I scheduled a teeth whitening in 2 weeks and my next dental cleaning in Dec. I will be a returning customer!

I love the environment the mint dentistry office gives off. All the staff is super professional, extremely polite and friendly and you can just feel the staff enjoy their work space meaning the work they put into shows the confidence in themselves to treat you as a valuable patient more than a client for sure. All the freebies they provide is a plus too (: I get so nervous with dentist I literally stayed away for years til I went to mint. Phenomenal!

First time was impressed by the courtesy of the employees, however when I received my bank statement it was brought to my attention that my card information was saved for recurring charges, no one mentioned that to me no one said anything about saving my info. This is something that needs to be discussed with the patient, had it was mentioned to me in the beginning when the payment plan was set up I maybe would have been OK with it. Its a no for me & I will not return, y'all were vocal about everything else but couldn't inform me about the recurring charges.Update 1:24:2023Once again my account was charged for services that was paid in full, and come to find out our insurance paid more than what was expected so there is a credit due to us. Had to contact the office again, now we have to wait till they complete their audit. Listen make sure y'all check y'all accounts & keep receipts. I contacted corporate of the issue, but this is ridiculous. How you charge money or put on payment plan when services were paid in full?? Make sure they not keeping your card info on file either...smh

My dental experience has been nothing but amazing at this office everytime. The staff is amazing and the dentist is willing to explain the procedures and why in detail to ease my concerns. Previously, I would have panic attacks at a dental office do to overwhelming fear. Since coming to this office I have been so supported by the staff that I haven't had one panic attack at any visit. 10/10 y'all.

The team at Mint in Waxahachie made the experience so pleasant by being family friendly, professional, and informative. I never expected a family trip to the dentist to be as simple as it was but they made sure to accommodate all of our needs. They even made sure my 2 year old daughter was comfortable as she got her very first dental exam. I would highly recommend them to anyone I come across in need of any of the services that they offer.

I absolutely dread the dentist- and although I was still frightened, the experience was the best I've had! Staff was very friendly and communicated effectively so that I knew what was going on the entire time. I've NEVER had a cleaning like the one I had today. Dr. Mendoza was very forthcoming with suggestions and reassuring! Aesthetically, the facility is gorgeous as well! I'll definitely be back !
