I wasn't sure what to expect having not been to an orthodontist office for many years, wow, was I impressed. The communications before the appointment made everything go very smooth. Beth did an amazing job explaining everything that was being done and everything that would be needed in the future. Very honest and professional. Highly recommended.

Dr. Allen and his team are absolutely the best around! My oldest had braces and my youngest is in Invisalign now. Both experiences have been wonderful and we are so happy with the results. The little extras in the office make it so inviting and the rewards program and special events are so fun for the kids! I had problems with my insurance coverage and Dr. Allen’s team worked to get it resolved immediately. Each staff member is so friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend Smile Doctors, and I do anytime I can. Thank you for making us smile every time we visit!

This place is absolutely amazing. After 3 1/2 years of braces, and treatment, Dr. Allen, Dr. Laurie, and all the staff that I encountered has been nothing but nice and sweet to me and made my smile beautiful. I am so happy with my results and would not recommend any other orthodontic place. They always made me feel comfortable throughout any treatment, and always had a smiling face when I walked inside. Truly, an amazing experience!

I am writing this review several years out of treatment (when this practice was previously known as Wheaton Orthodontics) and can attest that Dr. Allen did a beautiful job!I had no idea how severe my crowding and overbite were before I came in for my consultation as an adult in 2017. He put together a treatment plan immediately and started my treatment the following day knowing I had to leave to work out of state within a couple days. He explained every step to me and was so kind and understanding - the staff is exceptional, too. Scheduling is flexible and everything about timing, expenses, etc is transparent.I ended up also requiring double jaw surgery in 2018 to fully correct my bite and Dr. Allen was able to communicate with my oral surgeon out of state (Dr. Heath Evans in Oklahoma). I was finished with my braces in spring of 2019 and have maintained my correction with nightly invisible liners since. When I needed replacements, I was easily able to set up an appointment and pick up new retainers within the same week.I am now 4 years out of finishing my braces and I am so, so happy with my results (and so is my dentist). I was so self conscious and hated having my picture taken or even laughing or smiling without covering my mouth before having my bite and crowding corrected. Now I‘m happy to smile and laugh both in front of a camera and in everyday life.Thank you for everything, Dr. Allen and crew!

This place is absolutely astounding. When I first walk in here I automatically have a rush of hospitality the workers give off. Everyone who works here is so kind to everyone they take in. The front desk people are very helpful and patient when I have certain questions regarding the treatment, payments, etc. One of my daughters has Invisalign and she says she saw a difference with a reasonable amount of time and loves her teeth from how they were before. This place is very family friendly, and has a certain place where little kids can play while they are waiting. They do have a little snack area with water and snacks which I find very nutritious while waiting, as well as a brushing station just in case you ate breakfast on the go so you can brush them there. I couldn’t have asked for more of a better place to take my kids for their teeth. Thank you Smile Doctor!

Had a great experience with the first two kids. They started taking images of the third when she was really young and followed her mouth development. Braces came and they discovered there was a missing adult tooth. Braces came off, was surprised it was done because neither the dentist nor I thought it looked finished. Dr. A said the asymmetrical line up was only about 3mm off. We would have had to pull 4 teeth to get straight. That was not information that was ever provided to us. I’ve recommended in the past but really disappointed the last time around.

This was my first time going to Dr. Allen and I am so happy with how my teeth turned out. They weren’t that bad to begin with because I did have braces when I was younger I just stopped wearing the retainers I was given and my top teeth shifted a bit. But I am soooo much happier with Dr. Allen’s results. I was mostly self conscious about my two front teeth because they looked like bunny teeth but Dr. Allen filed down parts of my teeth that made them look big and now they’re aligned with the rest of my teeth! I had also finished my treatment but I still felt like there was one tooth that was slightly behind the rest of them, like the smallest amount that I felt like I was exaggerating but I knew it was something I would have to live with so I told him anyways. He started a new treatment right away and told me he saw what I was talking about and validated my concerns! Dr. Allen really just wants you to be comfortable and happy with your smile, I will be recommending this location to friends and family!

First time here, went in for a free consultation and let me just say, I was not disappointed. Everyone is super welcoming, the doctor and staff are truly amazing they will make sure you feel comfortable and leave satisfied with your visit specially Beth! She really cares for her patients and works with you to find the best treatment. whether you’re an adult or a kid looking to get braces look no further! I didn’t even have to think about it twice, I got my braces the same day and I couldn’t be happier:))

I had the best experience with Dr. Allen and the entire staff at Smile Doctors. They made the 1.5 year invisalign appointments enjoyable. They were always available to answer any questions that I had. The time and attention to detail was appreciated. As an adult I was a little nervous with what to expect, but each and every staff member eased my nerves. I'm so glad I chose Dr. Allen and the team at Smile Doctors in Wheaton. I cannot recommend this staff enough. I've told coworkers, friends and family about my positive experience.
