Based on 2 different experiences(noted below,) I cannot say enough about Dr. Gish and his team.I am an adult with a very strong fear of dentists and procedures. Dr. Gish was an absolute doll. He was kind, compassionate, patient, understanding, and explained everything to me before he started. He made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way and even gave me a squishy toy(usually for kids) to hold onto!My beloved mother(now departed) had dementia and was confined to a wheelchair. She needed oral surgery. Dr. Gish and his team were absolutely incredible. My mom was not able to transfer into the dentist chair so Dr. Gish adjusted his equipment and treated her from her wheelchair. He and his team were both loving and patient with her. Dr. Gish was able to help her through a very difficult situation. I cannot thank him enough for how he treated her.Pilar, Antonette, and Ariel are all amazing. They are kind, understanding and professional. Their smiles light up the room. Before leaving from my last appointment, I told Dr. Gish and his team that, while I would rather not see them again in their office, it would be lovely to bump into them in a restaurant.Trust me, you will be so pleased if you use Dr. Gish.

Afternoon Long Island!Let me start off by saying that this review is long overdue! Dr. Joshua E. Gish DDS and his staff at Leading Edge Oral Surgery are much appreciated for their understanding, professionalism and of course expertise in this field. There aren’t many times when people say they enjoy going to the dentist let alone an oral surgeon…with the work I have had done, Dr. Gish and his team have made me comfortable in all aspects by taking the time to explain the whole process. Dr. Gish and his staff are definitely professionals at their craft. Dr. Gish comes highly recommended by the leading dentists on the island. Thank god that there are still people like this that care!

From personal experience, it is very hard to find an excellent consistently on point, skilled dentist/oral surgeon. I have used the office of Dr. Gish and Dr. Fleischman for the wisdom teeth removal of four of my children as well as multiple oral surgeries needed for my elderly father. This office has had to rescue the disaster created by other providers in the area. The surgeons here are phenomenal. I have never had a complication or adverse event or need for a rescue procedure after the work of Dr. Gish and Dr. Fleischman. They have a great bedside manner. Their prices are reasonable if you don’t have insurance and the office staff is kind professional and friendly . They fit you in emergently when needed, and have very flexible scheduling. The office is impeccably clean, smells great, and I would 100% recommend this office for any oral surgery need.

I typically never write a review but in this situation- it goes without saying that a review was more than earned. Dr. Fleischman without question is by far the most gentle and best oral surgeon- I have dealt with and Ive had several!!! Without question I would highly recommend him to any family member.Appreciate the fact that after 12 hours for an implant- I had no soreness or tenderness by how clean it was done.Thank You! Fabian

In August, 2023, Dr. Gish performed oral surgery on my husband. Dr. Gish ensured my husband was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Everything Dr. Gish explained to us before the procedure, was accurate. Dr. Gish also has an exceptional follow up system. Dr. Gish has an outstanding staff. Every technician who assisted Dr. Gish with my husband's procedure was very caring, concerned for his comfort, and ensured I was kept up on the status of the procedure. The staff at the reception desk is outstanding, especially Antonette. She has helped us, and continues to help us with the administrative process. Antonette deals with the insurance company, which is one less thing we have to worry about. The facility is immaculate. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience with Dr. Gish and his staff.

4 days ago I started having pain around a specific tooth. 2 days the pain progressed to the point I couldn’t breathe. Yesterday at Plainview dentist I Found out it was infected and might need to come out. The pain was so bad I didn’t sleep…. And was searching for 5 star surgeons looking for a miracle they would take me the next day. I sent a message to them around 2am. At 730am I received not only an emergency appointment, but all the paperwork to fill out and anything to help get me in as quick as possible.Upon arrival…the office (I think Antionette?) was kind , and expedited the process to get me seen. (I was also a hot mess crying in agony)The assistant who helped was lovely! And the doctor (Grish) was exactly what I needed. He was kind, compassionate and genuinely wanted to help get me out of pain. For finding a random place on Google by reviews… I scored. I highly recommend this business and dr Grish. And extremely grateful they were able to help me so quickly.

This comforting group of qualified professionals quickly restored my confidence in the art of personal care by providing me with respect, patience, courtesy, and took complete control of my specific needs with concern for my comfort.Every member of their team is apparently prepared to resolve the outcome of their work. It's truly a relief to know Dr. Gish and Dr. Fleischman are attentive, caring, and within reach when needed. I received their full attention not only during my visit but in follow up as well. Special thanks to staff members Kelesha, Antoinette, and Pilar who helped with my anxiety on arrival and throughout my visit.Highest regards to all,Scott Smith

Hands down one of the best dental experiences I've ever had in my life. I'm a strong believer of great "first encounter" impressions with the people on the phones for appointments and inquiries. Kalisha made it such a great experience. She answered the phone with beaming energy ✨️ and professionalism. Mind you, I was on the phone the whole morning, calling up different offices and hearing unhappy, monotonous, "I-don't-want-to-work-so-I'll-be-rude-to-you" voices.Kalisha was a breath of fresh air and she was highly informative. She even went the extra mile of calling up my insurance to ensure I can use it at their practice. I got an appointment the very next day!On the day, my S/O and I were greeted with very warm smiles at the front desk. My hygienist and another lovely lady chatted with me like we've been acquaintances (the only things we lacked were ☕️ and 🍵 lol). Dr. Fleischman did such a great job extracting the last of my wisdom teeth (tooth #17!) and placing sutures over the socket. He made sure I was comfortable and checked regularly if I'm fine or if I'm feeling any pain.Post-op, Dr. Fleischman discussed with me what needs to be done next and some recommendations he has for my other tooth that may need a root canal. I was also debriefed on post-op aftercare and was given a kit 👝 with instructions, ice pack, and gauze.Everything went as smooth as . Each and every person in LEOS Woodbury will make any patient, whether anxious or not, feel comfortable and calmed down. If you're in dental pain, I highly recommend LEOS Woodbury!*Extra: They post pictures of their adorable pets 🐶🐱 on their corkboard at the front desk. Spot it when you're there! It will put a smile on your (swollen) face 😆

Beautiful and clean office with such a nice staff starting from the girls in the front to the techs and doctors. Last minute I needed my wisdom teeth removed and they were nothing but accommodating and even called to let me know they had something open up an hour earlier if I wanted to come in so I would have less time in pain. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Dr. Chandwani was a comforting presence right from the start. My daughter was suffering from headaches due to some jaw issues and we were worried that she would need surgery as a result. Our dentist recommended Dr. Chandwani and although we needed to pay out of pocket, it was worth every penny. He did a thorough examination, asked her a lot of questions and explained everything fully. He did not want to rush into surgery and prescribed a muscle relaxer to help the problem with her jaw. She hasn’t had one headache since and is able to enjoy foods that she couldn’t before. I highly recommend him and his office, everyone who we spoke to on the phone was extremely pleasant and kind. Although I hope we don’t need to return, Dr. Chandwani would be the doctor that we would see.
