I have been at millennium park smiles for about three years now. I thought so highly of them and have been referring them to other people in my family and friends. I’ve always had a great experience with everyone until today.I did an Invisalign treatment with them and had a reoccurring payment plan going where I would automatically pay $600 each month. I received a bill where I owed $1200, which was unusual for me since I had the payment plan going and the $600 should have been paid already for February and March.It came to my attention from a dental hygienist that between February and March they lost my chart with my records (which I assume had my credit card information). They never called me to tell me that they didn’t charge me in February and March.I called today to ask why they didn’t charge me in February and March and didn’t get much of a response and asked if I can pay $600 today and then $600 next month, because no one has $1200 just laying around to pay right off the bat.This is when things turned south. SANDRA picked up the phone call from the receptionist I was originally talking to and said that I would need to pay the $600 today and then $600 on Thursday during my appointment. I told her if it was possible to pay the $600 next month since I don’t have that money to pay in 4 days from now.SANDRA then said “I can make an exception this time but can’t do it next time,” implying that this was my fault I didn’t get charged in February and March. I told Sandra that it wasn’t my fault that I didn’t get charged in February and March when you lost my chart and that’s when she said “it is our fault that we lost your chart but it’s not our fault you don’t have $1200.” At that point, I wasn’t going to fight.After about 20 minutes I called back to talk to someone about how unprofessional that phone call was. The first time I called no one answered, but then I called from an unknown phone number and they picked up the phone.The lady on the phone call was very apologetic and was understanding of the situation, which is not something I received from Sandra during that phone call. I told the lady that I will be leaving a review as it was highly unprofessional and asked to get a call back from someone in the office and the lady told me that the manager would not be in until Thursday, which was fine I was willing to wait.Then, I received a phone call from Sandra. During that I asked if I can speak to someone else besides her and she responds “well I’m the office manager.” She then proceeds to tell me that I called to complain and that what I told the other receptionist is not true and that everything is recorded. I said play the recording back because you absolutely said those things. She continued to then call me by my last name instead of my first name, after I corrected her once and told her to call me by my first name. I think that was super passive aggressive.The cherry on top of this phone call with Sandra was that she threatened to pull my records so I can go to a different dentist. I never said that I would go to a different dentist. She can play that conversation back too if the conversation was recorded.Overall, the conversation with Sandra was highly unprofessional. She should have called me and apologized for being rude on the phone call and I would have been done with this whole conversation, but she instead called me back to be defensive and tell me I was lying. Not once was she apologetic. To emphasize again, I never had a problem with any receptionist or dentist here except for Sandra. Please do better with customer service and don’t play with other peoples money.

THIS OFFICE IS EXCELLENT!Called them Monday after a filling fell out and started to hurt.Got me in the next day and fixed me up right! EVERYONE there is EXCELLENT!! From the Front Desk to the Hygenists, to the Dentists! BEYOND EXCELLENT!!Very informative explaining step by step for procedures as well as through the follow up. So happy my coworker recommended them to me...I have already recommended a few others to this office as well. You will NOT be disappointed!☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
