My experience with this facility happened in 2019 (roughly). My son has extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. My son was upset and crying and the staff stood around looking at each other like they weren't sure what to do. The lady who brought us back called it quits after a short while. Not a lot of time was spent trying to calm my son. No strategies were used in helping him. Unfortunately, at the time, they were not skilled, nor trained, in working with children with anxiety. The most upsetting piece was that we were there for a total of 20 minutes tops, and they still charged me a $125 office visit charge and no care was given to my child. I would definitely love my money back. So if your child has extreme anxiety with the dentist--take them elsewhere.

I took both my little girls to Hines Little Smiles and it was my girls visit. They were scared and nervous and the entire staff did an excellent job making my girls calm and comfortable. They did a great job with the set up of the office and all the extra goodies the kids get is great. I am very happy with the experience my family received and how wonderful the staff was. Our hygienist was named Susan she was awesome. But with her hair style my little one thought she was Anna from frozen it was hilarious. I am truly overall very satisfied and would 100% recommend to anyone with kids. And Dr Hines was great as well. Thank you for the great experience.

We were a client for 7 years, and have received awful customer and billing service for the last 1.5 years. After paying out of pocket for two children's procedures Hines has proceeded to bill and refill our insurance over and over again. At least three times for one child.Hines does not accept any insurance by policy, however they will bill the insurance for you. Therefore you pay in full upfront, they bill the insurance, the insurance cuts you a check. Meaning, this should be a done deal.Further, Hines has sent at least 4 different bills since our last visits. All bills are for different amounts, claiming to be for the same accoun. None are itemized more than one line per child. When I requested itemization they couldn't or wouldn't provide. Instead I was told over and over again that it's just how their system works. Well maybe the system is broken because line 1 for $87 plus line item 2 for $87 does not equal a total bill of $87. Also, why are the payments not being shown on the account summary billing statement. And why are all four bills a different amount?My last communication was with the office manager who insisted that I give her two to three days to review the account and she would provide a phone call to discuss the account. I requested a printed itemized full summary for our entire account history. I haven't received either call or printed history. However I did receive another insurance EOB billing attempt from Hines since my last communication. They resubmitted for payment in Oct 2023, for services provided in Feb & March 2023. All services were Paid in full (we have receipts for all procedures.The positives: The kids were never stressed to go to the dentist which is securing since one of our has high medically triggered anxieties.Big issue, NO ONE answers the phone or responds to email. Sometimes, only sometimes, return calls are received. We have had two mouth incidents that we couldn't reach the dentist to consult and confirm if we needed to be seen or not. Their emergency line is "Facebook messenger". Which is also not monitored as they say it is.Dental care is some of the most important care you can offer your children to medically set their health up for success in their life. Proper care can prevent cardiac issues and so much more. Unfortunately at Hines we were just a number and a dollar sign. Our family of 6 has moved on. And I won't recommend this practice going forward.{Ask me two years ago and I would have given a 5 star recommendation. Sad times. }

It was my 3 year olds first time ever being to the dentist. After extensive search on google and reading reviews I chose Hines little smiles. We drove 2 1/2 hours away to get there if that says anything. My little boy is nonverbal/autistic so I was nervous how he would act or if the dentist would have enough patience with him. Let me just say our whole experience was amazing! The dental assistant and the dentist were great! They both were super nice and patient with my little one and assured me him crying was normal, especially being his first time to the dentist. I highly recommend them for your little ones dentist. 10 out of 10!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. From the second I walked in the door, until the minute we walked out, it was an amazing experience. The office staff was informative, kind and patient. The dental hygienist was fun, helpful and my son loved her. Dr. Hines went above and beyond to make me & my son feel comfortable. She explained every step and put my mind at ease. I will never take my children anywhere else!

Hines Little Smiles is excellent. Just had our 2 year old's tongue tie released and everything from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, to the warmth they had toward my child and me, to the thorough explanation for before, during, and after the procedure...I really can't be happier with my experience there. Now if I could only get my child to cooperate with the post procedure exercises....😅

Wow! Nothing short of impressed by Hines Little Smiles. My children (8 and 3) LOVE going to the dentist now. The waiting room is really cute and fun for kids, they can watch TV while they get their cleanings. The staff is just incredible and patient and all the dentists I have communicated with have been informative and kind. We are customers for life (well, for 15 years at least ;) )

This was our first visit here and my little ones and I were so impressed! We had to switch dentists because our old dentist stopped taking our insurance and I’m so glad we found this place. Everyone was so friendly and inviting as soon as we walked in, and the bright colors and decorations were a visual treat, plus a slide and interactive tablets for the kids to play on. They invited me back with my kids which was nice because our last dentist told me I couldn’t come back with them. My little ones are very excited to come back here!

Hines was amazing! Dr. Richa and Ashley were so patient with my hesitant three year old. They were very gentle and talked with her to calm her down. I will recommend them 100x over.Thank you Hines Little Smiles! We appreciate you!

I don't think I would recommend the surgery center. Cleaning and check up was fine. There were a few of the staff that were great but also a few that were somewhat rude. Two of my kids had surgery a few days ago and it was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. My kids were obviously nervous and scared. They are 6 and 8. One of them suffers from pretty severe social anxiety and has since she was very young. They both didn't want to talk to any of the staff, understandably. To children everyone looked intimidating dressed in hair nets and medical attire. Which is to be expected that's not my complaint at all. The anesthesiologist came in to explain to us what was going to happen and what to expect. He wasn't in there 2 minutes and asked the kids which mask was theirs. They didn't want to answering just kind of sat there. He asked them multiple times and over and over the kids gave no answer. He then started to talk to them like they were dumb. Asking do u no how to pick the mask up. Then asked if they had developmental delays. He then asked me into the hall to talk privately. He then asks me, bluntly, if they were abused, foster kids and if they had developmental delays. I obviously told him no but was taken back by it. We went back into the room with the kids and he asked 2 or 3 more times for them to pick up a mask. They wouldn't. I voiced my concern to the front desk and she told the director the director came to talk to me and hardly let me talk. Kept over talking me and dismissed anything I said saying it was policy. I understand they work with children and unfortunately abuse is something they need to look out for. But his approach and demeanor was terrible! They suspected something that severe because they didn't want to pick up a mask? Today I called to voice a concern about my daughter and symptoms she's having I was dismissed and talked over once again and talked to like I was dumb. Terrible terrible experience I won't send my kids there again. I do want to mention that the front desk, the dentist, and some of the assistance were incredible and treated my kids amazing that is completely the only reason I gave 2 stars.
