I made a payment for $350.00 over the phone and all that I requested was a receipt, this was 10 days ago. I was told by LaKishea that she would send me an email receipt today and I still didn't receive it, which is what she told me 10 days ago. I called today and spoke with Eric who sent me a receipt instantly and then stayed on the phone with me to confirm that I received it...that's how you conduct business. I feel as though my ask was very simple. Please train your other employees like Eric. I supervise 15 direct reports so I understand firsthand how vitally important it is to stand on business.In response to the reply, it is your staff's responsibility to inform the customer of this policy, instead of stating that she'd send it right over, which is something that Eric did within seconds. Again, my ask was very simple and I am very understanding, had I been told this upfront. My daughter is the client, however the payment came from me. Transparency and ownership is key here.

Very friendly professional staff. I was pleased with how thorough and detailed the service was. The dental hygienist, Erik, was very helpful and educated on preventative options, as well as potential options for cleaning teeth at home. Getting the X-rays were a little uncomfortable. I’d recommend that the patient be provided with lip balm for comfort while going through any prolonged service. Dr. Sly was very helpful in addressing an existing issue from prior care provided by an outside dentist and quickly provided some solutions and a decent treatment plan.

Shoutout to Dr. Sharel S. Sly and her team at Hermann Park Smiles who did an amazing job handling my wisdom teeth a few days ago.Amazing team! Like… from the lady at the front desk, to the assistant, to Dr. Sly herself.I got in and out. Here are some of the things that stood out:1). Dr. Sly is a black woman! How many black female dentists do you know? In addition to this fact, she has a nonprofit aimed at recruiting more black women to the practice.2). When I say I got in and out, I mean it. There weren’t a million pages to fill out, or a long wait. They’ve got the process down to make it convenient. They did all the research around my insurance provider etc. before the appointment, and they have a digital system to sign waivers/terms via your phone.3). They’re patient. If you know me, you know I don’t do pain or the unknown. Maybe it’s the Virgo in me 😂. She and her staff explained what the process would look like, and answered my crazy questions. “Will I be able to talk later today?” “What will the pain be like before, during, and after?” Those were just a couple.4). The staff is a vibe. Everyone was so friendly…. I won’t say “I can’t wait to go back” because… ya know… it’s the dentist… but when it’s time, I’m going to Hermann Park Smiles.If youre looking for a dentist, I give them 5 ⭐️s!Highly recommend…

I've never been late for a doctor's appointment until today. When I arrived I was pretty disoriented and apologetic but the staff welcomed me with pleasant smiles and made me comfortable right away. I've never experienced this kind of service in any clinic I've been to in my 10months living in H-town. They were all very professional and patient.

Dr. Sly has been my dentist for almost 6 years now. She's amazing and helps me to take great care of my teeth. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth! Also, her staff is very warm and welcoming. Love the feasibility of scheduling appointments and the appointment text reminders. I would recommend Dr. Sly to anyone who's searching for a quality and caring dentist!

Easy scheduling and onboarding with forms. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff with top notch customer service and presentation. The office is located in an easy to reach location with parking across the street. The interior decor is pleasant, and inviting. I am most impressed by the staff and the technology/services available in office. Very pleased from the front desk, to the assistant, hygienist and doctor. So very thankful for the education and instructions every step of the way. World class experience.

I drove all the way from Spring, Tx with the intention of support black owned businesses. I called and scheduled a cleaning and exam for my first visit. I verified that my insurance was accepted while confirming the appointment with the scheduler.On the day of the appointment, I was told X-rays and photos “were needed” and then the cleaning and exam…again I asked if this was covered under my insurance plan, again I was told yes.I was a bit taken back by having to pay the bill prior to receiving the service but disregard.My insurance later issued me a check and said I was billed incorrectly. When the dental office called inquiring about an unpaid amount I was perplexed because they wouldn’t start the service until I paid, so I called the insurance again. Again, my insurance said I don’t owe them anything. Apparently the young lady at the front desk no longer works there yet the dental office proceeded to sent the bill to collections. Not worth the hassle

I needed an urgent dental appointment in the Houston metro area. My booking was stress free online. Paperwork and verification were fast. Practice was easy to locate and a 3hr free parking was available in a large parking lot opposite the practice on Almeda. Office was clean and serene. Front desk personnel was respectful with all smiles. Imaging was fast and the dentist listened and reviewed my dental need with me and gave the best recommendations and treatment options. Very few medical practitioners are good listeners in this country. Dr Sharel was helpful.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to!I absolutely HATE going to the dentist but I needed a root canal bad, So I came here. absolutely ZERO pain.. did I say ZERO? Lol. On top of that, there has never been a wait when I come. All members of her staff are kind and very friendly. Doc Sly is a great, highly educated dentist and has great bedside manner too. You got a patient for life Doc. Keep up the Excellence!!

I didn't have a good experience. They didn't take my insurance, but I really wanted honest help and care after 10 years of prioritizing family care over my own. After 1.5 hours of exams/xrays, I was presented a detailed $7k plan of what I should do with them. I was overwhelmed and upset (and also uncomfortable with how impersonal the experience was especially with open rooms that don't close there was zero privacy during a personal medical conversation?). I was so confused and had to leave for work, and then was charged more more than the initial $150 I paid, an additional $139, for a total of $339. No cleaning - exams and xrays. I will not be going back, felt led on and overcharged, and do not recommend this business.
