For it being my daughter's very first dentist appointment on top of her having autism, they were very gracious with my daughter, patient and gentle. The front staff was kind and professional. The dentist assistant, the young lady was gentle with daughter and patient which I truly appreciated. Dr. Mark Hermano was patient, professional gentle and attentive with my daughter, Who has autism. For it being her first visit, I was grateful.

The name for this place should be the opposite of what it is now. The people that are working there are unhappy, unfriendly and selfish. They need to be investigated and closed down.They are not answering their phone. They will cancel your appointment within a few minutes before your appointment time. They will not see your child if you get there a few minutes late. I'm wondering if they don't get pay for what they are doing. They are not welcoming people to the place.It is very sad.

Appts are 3-4 months out all the time and they cancel without regards and reschedule 3/4 months out again lol. But what really got me today is that my appointment was for 2/3 children and I arrived late for one so took the reschedule no issue, but when my 11yo was called in stood up me and my 3 kids )7,9,11 yo) since I have no one to leave them, they asked “all of you are coming in” I said yes she then asked can my 11yo come in alone I said no as he’s a minor and I can’t leave others out as they were minors she said hold a min, I guess manager comes out and says “ 11yo patient only one person can accompany” so I guess my other 2 kids I was going to disappear or leave with my invisible nanny jajajaj just told her to cancel everything.This place has no customer service, pediatric dentist that cannot accommodate families. Please stay away from this place!!!!

I Will do 0 stars if I can my special need son with a bad toothache I call the office they give me a 2 weeks appointment 1:pm i got there at 1:10 cause of the school I went to pick him from the school give him a little later do not take him for the appointment my son crying he doesn’t understand cause autism kids not patient bad customer service front desk lady was also nasty to me

Good staff and helpful when you are at the facility. HOWEVER, to get in contact with the actual clinic is IMPOSSIBLE. The phones are always “Not Available” and automatically gets transferred to the call center. I’ve had an emergency with my son and was still unable to get a hold of the facility. It’s disappointing and frustrating that the only thing the call center can do is continue to transfer me to the clinic and I still get a “no one is available for pick up” it should not be so hard to get a hold of a clinic ESPECIALLY when looking for answers over a child who is in extreme pain and swollen mouth after a procedure they did. I am beyond disappointed with how this is going.

I have been looking for a dentist that would be able to work with special needs children, being I have a boy with DS and will not allow anyone to touch his mouth,and have had no luck until I found Happy Friendly Smiles. The ladies at the front desk, the assistants and the doctor, extraordinary service! I loved the whole experience and my children did as well. They were able to lean my boys teeth, communicate with him even tho he is non clear verbal. It was just one of the best experiences ever. Thank you all at HFS! You guys ROCK!!!

Happy Friendly Smiles should be promoted through out the entire office not just in certain areas. The check in personnel, the dental assistant and the Dentist all showed Happy Friendly Smiles, but the young lady in the check out area who schedules the follow up appointment definitely need to show more of that. She isn’t welcoming at all, no smiles and no friendliness is shown, especially when you work in an environment with children, this is a MUST. Overall the experience with the check in personnel, the Dental Assistant and the Dentist was great with my kid, my kid felt very comfortable and they were very kind! Thank you.

Great experience! I received a phone call the day after leaving a voicemail to request an appointment. The staff were amazing with both of my children. I was impressed with and grateful for the care and attention they provided to my autistic son. My daughter had a great experience as well. This was her first time at the dentist and everything went smoothly. Both kids are happy with their new dentist office. The goodie bags and coin prize machine were great! Almost no wait time to be seen. Fast, friendly and efficient service.

Had my child’s appointment cancel, I was picking my child up from school to head to the Dentist appointment after picking him up I notice a missed call from Happy Friendly Smiles, I called back to see what was the reason of the call, I was informed that the appointment was canceled due to an emergency, I already took my child out of school, requested time off from my job to take care of my child’s appointment, I was already heading to the dentist office when I was informed of the cancellation, and when trying to reschedule I was told by Karla that they have open appointments into January of 2024, I will recommend that they should have a protocol when dealing with similar situations for those patients that appointments are getting canceled to reschedule in a timely manner.
