Make sure you stay on top of their billing department and your insurance, making sure this office bills correctly.Overall, the experience with the orthodontist and office was positive until the last appointment. Despite a good experience previously, frustration arose due to lack of communication and urgency about insurance payments, resulting in a delay in removing the braces for my 8 year old. Since it’s AVA policy to not remove the braces until the complete balance has been paid. However insurance won’t pay for the removal and last appointment until after that happens and a claim is filed. It’s important for practices to be transparent about billing and to communicate effectively with patients about any outstanding balances or insurance issues way before the appointment to schedule to remove the braces. Especially in this case where once I found out I called my insurance and found out they just received Dec, Jan and Feb claims in March!!!

These guys have been great with my daughter ella. They are straight forward about what needs to be done on their part and on the patient's part, but also very nice and accommodating. They always work with us on appointment times and have been very easy to work with. I'd suggest AVA for anyone, but especially those who are worried about the pain etc.

I wanted to wait until a few follow up before sending a review. I started my journey in April. So much improvement on my teeth. It’s so worth coming and worth the journey. Thank you AvA orthodontist for your professionalism. Your staff is always all smiles.Clarissa Gates
