The billing department and management team is enough of a nightmare to warrant a stern warning to stay away from this dental practice . Without going into detail , I had a nightmare of an experience sorting out billing for both myself and my spouses account. Two separate and completely different issues, but both required jumping through hoops to sort the balances out . They will assure you treatments will be covered under insurance, but the outcome can be quite the opposite… and then they drag their feet to appeal with the insurance company (I’m talking months of dragging) . I got the run around for 6 MONTHS in regards to clearing the balance. “Things take time”, as a previous reviewer stated being told, is exactly what we were told by the then office manager Amanda . I expressed my concern about not wanting the outstanding balance to be sent to collections while we were waiting for all to be sorted out. The assured me it wouldn’t happen and I had nothing to worry about . Well guess what ? They “accidentally” sent the balance to collections! This was an absolute nightmare to undo, as now we had to deal with collections on top of everything else . All in all, this situation with Simply Beautiful Smiles took 6-7 months to resolve from start to finish. As a side note , we found much of the staff to be impersonal and pushy with treatments. They use a lot of outside temp staff (dental assistants) that don’t seem to have a clue what they’re doing . All in all, I’d suggest staying far far away from Simply Beautiful Smiles. We certainly will NEVER be going back.

Office manager ADELE has the patience of a saint! We were in office when a customer was highly inappropriate with her and she handled herself beyond professionally with the patience of a saint. DR BIRON is one of the best doctors I’ve ever met in my entire life. He removed my wisdom teeth (age 32). I had 5 of them. His bedside manner is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my life. I have severe anxiety and he was unbelievably kind, patient and professional and understanding. I wish he practiced every type of medicine. You won’t find another doctor like Dr Biron. I 100 percent recommend to anyone who needs any type of oral surgery. Additionally my husband came to have his wisdom teeth taken out and they did a phenomenal job of accommodating us even though we were running behind. I noticed most of the poor reviews are insurance related so I recommend calling your insurance company to confirm coverage.

The office staff can't seem to confirm the insurance plans they accept. I have changed my dental insurance 3 times and have had to cancel 3 appointments and still haven't been advised of the correct information. I haven't been able to come to the dentist in 2 years because they can't confirm which insurance they accept. It's open enrollment I would like to know which dental plan I should choose so I can finally come to the dentist for an appointment.

Summary: DONT GO HERE! All of their calls are routed through a call center and you cannot reach the office directly. The Medford office does not return calls so you'll be stuck in a never ending loop of frustration.Didn't even get to go into the office to know this was horrible service. I called last Tuesday to ask about scheduling an oral surgery procedure; someone took my info and said that the office manager would call me back. They never called. I called again on Wednesday, and they assured me that no one passed along my message... okay? so they said I should talk to the oral surgery coordinator, Colleen. They took my information and then transferred me to her office line; she didn't answer so I left a message on her machine. She never called me back. On Thursday I waited again for her to call me back.. nothing. On Friday (11:00am) I called and just decided to schedule a consultation so I could talk to someone in person. They scheduled it for Monday at 9:00am. An hour late I got a message that there was a problem with my appointment, because the Doctor wouldn't even be in on Monday and I should call them back to confirm what the appointment was for. I called back immediately after missing their call and I was connected to a call center. APPARENTLY all of their calls are directed through a call center and you CANNOT contact the office directly. You can only put in a request through the call center to have the office call you back. so I did. they didn't call back. I called again at 1:40 knowing that they close at 2:00pm on Fridays so if they dont return my call then how will i know if I should actually show up to my appointment on Monday morning. Once again, call center, no call back.Absolutely horrible service, no one there will call you back. Thank god i didn't actually have a procedure done there because if there had been any kind of complication I probably would have died from infection before actually getting them to call me back.

Refund for services not rendered was supposed to be processed and credited to my credit card account. They continue to delay the process with lame excuses. "It takes time' "don't know how long it will take" They refuse to refund. They "simply' cheated me out of thousands of dollars! Amanda, office manager was absolutely no help at all. Simply Beautiful smiles should be avoided if you need dental work. Rip-off for sure!!! Can't be trusted! Be very careful before signing any agreement. It's a trap! They don't deserve even one star, but can't post without one. WARNING!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!

I went to the Medford office with tooth pain on a Friday afternoon. Mary Farren found a problem with two of my teeth and was able to immediately put a filling in one and a temporary crown on the other before she left for the day! What a relief as I was going on vacation the following week. My return visit two weeks later for my permanent crown was also good, in and out in 30 minutes. Very happy with Mary and all the staff at the Medford office!

I was a long time patient. In early June I called because of a toothache. They saw the infection on x ray, prescribed an antibiotic, and said they wanted the root canal doctor to look at it and would get back to me. I was told if they didn't get back to me, to call them. They didn't get back to me after 3 days of waiting. So I called them. The receptionist said she needed to contact the root canal doctor and would get back to me. About 2 hours later, the receptionist calls me and says that the root canal doctor recommends extraction even though he didn't see me just looked at my x rays. She says she will tell my dentist and she (the dentist) will call me. The dentist never calls. I wait another 5 days. No call. I call the office and explain my situation. They tell me the dentist will call me back. She calls me back and says she may be able to see me tomorrow or if not another dentist will take care of me the following week because she is away. I told her I still had some pain. She said she would order more antibiotic and that she would have someone call me to get me in asap. No one called. Also the pharmacy had no record that she called in the antibiotic. I called the next day after rearranging my work schedule in the hopes of getting an appointment for the extraction. I was told by the receptionist that my dentist was full and she could see me a week from Monday or 10 days from now. I told her to forget it and I will find another dentist. At no time did anyone, my dentist especially, seem to care that this tooth infection could be or become serious. At no time did the receptionist offer to schedule me with another dentist from the office so I could be taken care of sooner. Terrible customer service. Also terrible that I had to keep calling them to get any service at all.

Need to add to this out dated review because I did not see Dr Browning today, nor Deb. I was in for a cleaning and an exam. Dr Browing was with other patients so Dr Miller came in to do a check. All good and she too was very personable and I was completely at ease with her. Then I saw Pam for a cleaning. As much as Pam and I joke around, i know she has my best interest at heart and I totally trust her to to do a thorough job.OLD REVIEW BUT STILL STILL STANDS TRUE. have never been so comfortable in a dentist office as I am at this one. Doctor Browning is very gentle, caring and professional. I always know when she is coming near my "room" as I hear her singing get louder (lol). She is the best. And Deb is amazing. She too is the best at what she does. Although I wish I didn't need them as much as I do, I do not dread going to the dentist as I had in the past. THANK YOU BOTH FOR HAVING MY BACK. I appreciate everything you are doing for me!!!!

I am very pleased with my dentist visit. I have recently moved to the area. And let me tell you back home i never left the dentist feeling this satisfied.(Elizabeth NJ) I feel that they took there time and really tried to do a deep detailed clean here at simply beautiful smiles of Medford. The whole team treated me well and we’re very professional. Very happy with there service!! Will Definitely be back in 6 months!!

I love Dr. Watt, the office staff and my hygienist. However when I was given my treatment case I was told it would be $400.00 for my treatment plan which was to be 5 visits for root canal work. After 2 visits and an additional $350.00 was told I used up all insurance for the year and the next 3 visits would be out of pocket. I don’t understand how such a huge discrepancy could happen. How can I trust this ?
